Stuuuuuuuuuunning. More restaurants in LA should bring the vibes. Somerville is gorgeous and delicious and impeccable service. Standouts were the rolls, cocktails, and bass. The only thing that could be better are the desserts.

EXCELLENT service, delicious food, beautiful restaurant with an amazing ambiance, loved the live jazz band and was super impressed I could still enjoy conversation with my date. Brilliant addition to the neighborhood — LA is lucky to have Somerville!

The experience is everything we expected. Perfect date night vibes: Live jazz, affordable food and drink options and every detail feels right. Parking was free and accessible. 10 out of 10 from beginning to end.

The service and food was excellent. Our server, Dennis took very good care of us. The ambiance, decor and live music are the cherry on top. Somerville instantly became one of my restaurants. Bravo! 👏🏽🙌🏽👊🏽

Vibe and ambiance was lovely. The live band was great. It was a bit loud (maybe I’m old) and I felt like I was yelling both at the bar and my table. The drinks were great and although there was no rosé by the glass, the bartender had a spot on recommendation for a pinot gris as a substitute. The oysters were the standout of the apps we tried. We ordered all of the mains and the bass may have been the winner and the collard green lasagna a distant second. The short ribs while a healthy portion with a tasty side of ride, were lacking flavor and tasted quite bland to me. The chicken was chicken lol. The only other complaint was the wait time of about 15-20 mins despite having reservations (went on a Wednesday at 8p for reference)
