   Service seemed behind and got our orders messed up at the table. It was the first time sitting in the back room, I believe called the magnolia room, and it was pretty loud. Food was excellent though!

   Absolutely the best! The service, the food, the drinks, the management. Without question, the best restaurant in Shelby County.

   I have visited Southern Social multiple times, and the food and service are always excellent. However, I particularly wanted to share how amazing they were for my mom’s 75th birthday. They gave her a custom-printed menu with “Happy 75th Birthday” on it, which was such a nice touch and memento . Almost every staff member we saw took the time to wish her a happy birthday, and at the end of the meal they brought out a crème brûlée with a candle. It was really thoughtful and made her feel special on a milestone birthday. I really appreciate how kind and attentive everyone was. It's just another reason why Southern Social continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

   First time eating outside this year as my husband does not really enjoy al fresco , but it was a lovely evening and Carmelo took great care of us . We are having Aunt Thelma's fried chicken leftovers today for lunch since the portions are so big !!

   Our meal was cooked so well, everything was delicious. Provided a Wonderful service and wonderful atmosphere. The pork chop was amazing,  and the cocktails were perfection.

   I celebrated my birthday at SS and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had the Tomahawk Chop. It was delicious! The sweet potato casserole and Brussels sprouts were the perfect sides! I always get great service and last night was no different.

   Me and my wife came here to celebrate our wedding. Alex our server, Brian his manager and Will their food runner were all very accommodating. Alex keyed us in on a hidden menus item and Brian sent us a complimentary dessert and toast to celebrate our wedding. 5 stars.

    Had a good experience- the food was well prepared and presented nicely, the ambiance was great as always, the staff are always really pleasant. Just an overall nice place to enjoy a good meal.
