Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: After years of fine dining on the Strip, James Beard semifinalist Brian Howard took the party to Chinatown, and opened his own restaurant Sparrow + Wolf in 2017. A globally inspired menu of wood-fired cooking includes dishes like fresh-baked sourdough, hand-rolled pasta, and innovate plates of seafood. With a dramatic black-and-gold space, a monster mural of a wolf, and late night entertainers, it’s just the right amount of Vegas.

    En general esta bien el restaurant pero el servicio dejo de que hablar. Les pedimos que nos cambiaran a la mesa de enseguida, la cual estaba desocupada y era mas amplia y el mesero dijo que tenia que preguntarle a la hostess y a los minutos volvio diciendonos que dijo la hostess que no. Eso nos molesto mucho porque no les costaba nada. En cuanto a la comida, esta excelentemente bien presentada pero de los 6 platillos diferentes solo 1 platillo fue extraordinario, los demas les falto sabor.

    Got possessed by a craving for the octopus dish I had seen another order on my last visit, so booked dinner. Sat at the bar per usual and tried all new menu items to me. Drink- •How 'bout Them Apples ($17): Fresh-from-the tree sour apple, sharp and earthy. Wonderfully evocative creation from Guillermo (Tito). •Kaiju Amiga ($15): Very balanced between nutty sweetness and tang. •Clearly ($16): Like being on a breezy Caribbean beach, sunny, salty, citrusy. •Desparada "Saturn Return" 2022 Red Blend ($20): Very good pour. Food- Foie Gras ($25): Several-forkfuls portion of the rich fatty organ, accompanied by a thin eggroll spear. Very nutty, sweet, and crisp. Spanish Octopus ($24): About 10 octopus chunks, nicely charred outside the tender meat. Plentiful firm risotto grains, al dente and mildly salty (squid ink). Listed with a fire symbol on the menu; accurate. Chili quite prominent, asked for some bread ($2) to absorb and deaden some of the heat. Spiced and spicy. Value: Most excellent for the alcohol. Undecided about the food; liked what I had, still feeling the heat. Atmosphere: Surprisingly quiet at first, but noise level rose to its usual loud magnitude as the customers poured in. Service: Exceptional and attentive!

    Both sourdough and ciabatta came out over toasted/burn. Octopus came out burnt too where the char taste was overpowering. Banh cuon was good but salty and too rice outside was a bit thick. Sourdough bread and ciabatta was fluffy and crispy which was great except the burnt parts. All servers were excellent

    This was our second time at S&W on our visits to. Vegas. Amazing inventive food with stellar staff who know their menu like the back of their hands and are great guides on how to enjoy the food to the max. Great vibrant ambience. Off the main drag. Just excellent. Will always come back.

    Honestly the best food experience we’ve ever had the pleasure of having in Las Vegas. We experienced Chef Brian Howard’s NYE 7 course tasting menu. Each course brought us to a different memory; from the shores of Kauai to a cozy mountain cabin in Big Bear. And the wine pairing that our amazing sommelier, Nick, were phenomenal. He was so passionate in what he does we felt honored to have him as our sommelier. 10/10 place, would highly recommend if you want a spectacular food experience.
