Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: After years of fine dining on the Strip, James Beard semifinalist Brian Howard took the party to Chinatown, and opened his own restaurant Sparrow + Wolf in 2017. A globally inspired menu of wood-fired cooking includes dishes like fresh-baked sourdough, hand-rolled pasta, and innovate plates of seafood. With a dramatic black-and-gold space, a monster mural of a wolf, and late night entertainers, it’s just the right amount of Vegas.

    En general esta bien el restaurant pero el servicio dejo de que hablar. Les pedimos que nos cambiaran a la mesa de enseguida, la cual estaba desocupada y era mas amplia y el mesero dijo que tenia que preguntarle a la hostess y a los minutos volvio diciendonos que dijo la hostess que no. Eso nos molesto mucho porque no les costaba nada. En cuanto a la comida, esta excelentemente bien presentada pero de los 6 platillos diferentes solo 1 platillo fue extraordinario, los demas les falto sabor.

    I seem to have developed a habit whereas if I am going to see a show or movie in the area e.g. Palms or Las Vegas Little Theatre, I tend to eat dinner at Sparrow + Wolf. A good habit to have. For the sake of unusual expediency, I will shorthand my repeat dishes and drink: What's the Tea ($16): Still a light perky garden fresh sipper from Drew. This drink was perilously close to selling out. Bánh Cuốn ($21): Still the most addictive preparation of duck I've ever eaten. Peace Dove ($19): Still a creamy, lightly sweet and sour refreshing creation from Camille. New to Me- Peruvian Steelhead Trout ($24): Presentation colored like a rainbow, with five fresh light fish islands melting on the tongue like cotton candy, topped with contrasting thin crunchy radish and popping roe, in a sweet, fruity, nutty tasting lake. Maria ($16): Juicy, floral, tangy, and sneakily strong. Black Pepper Honey Pork Flank ($39): Fantastic preparation rendering the thin slices of medium/medium-well meat incredibly succulent. Never on Thyme ($16; comped): Camille's frozen luscious orchard in a glass. Bright, crisp, and just sweet enough. Value: Prices have crept up on some dishes but the value due to the incredibly well-executed flavor profiles is still there for me. Service: Still delightful and professional from everyone, with special mention to bartender Drew.

    Wonderful eclectic menu. Highly recommended the tasting menu. It’s a lot of food, though manageable, and gives you the full experience of what this kitchen is able to do.

    Extraordinary experience. Every moment, from the ambience, to the service, and the food exceeded expectations. I had the fixe prix menu plus the wine pairing and it was delicious. The rhubarb oyster and lamb were particularly noteworthy. While pricy, it seemed like good value.

    Great service and food offerings were interesting and delicious Prices were fair for quality of food Presentation was nice and our server explained each one.

    Our party had a 9:30 reservation and upon check in was told the kitchen would stop taking orders soon. We were worried we would feel rushed, but that wasn’t the case at all. Our server, Emily, was fantastic! We told her to go ahead and put together the meal for us with her top recommendations and she did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the overall experience really was made by the service.
