We are a independent locally owned Prime Steakhouse with fresh sustainable seafood and more located 1 mile from the PA Turnpike/Route 228 interchange. We offer only the highest standard prime Certified Angus Beef (CAB) in an upscale but casual atmosphere . We Dry Age our steaks in house and feature , CAB, American Wagyu and Japanese Wagyu Beef. We are open 7 days a week including Lunch, Brunch and Dinner Service. Our bar offers extensive wine, whiskey/scotch and cocktail lists.

Our server was very nice and attentive. Drinks were good. Crab cake was decent. Caesar salad was very small and definitely not big enough for sharing but good flavor. Filets were mediocre. Fries were terrible. Soggy and burned. Lobster Mac n cheese had no flavor. Carrots were ok. We paid $450 with tip for 2 adults and 2 kids. Definitely not worth that price. We will just go downtown next time. Disappointing.

Great meal tonight. Everything was great. Waygu meatballs- spot on Skewer shrimp- perfect Bacon sampler- lots of flavor Lobster tail- perfect Ribeye-perfect Crab cakes- super tasty and great portion Filet and crostini was perfect

We celebrated a special birthday with our family. Amy our server made the total experience superb. The steaks were amazing. But Amy’s outstanding customer service is second to none. Highly recommend! If you’re looking for excellent food, service and ambiance… No need to travel to Pittsburgh, you can find it right in Mars!

Arrived at 5:30 and did not receive our dinner until 7:00. The place was empty. They had about four couples in the whole restaurant. It took forever to get our meal and when we got it, it was wrong. this is about the third time that we’ve been there and I think this may be our last first two times were excellent. This last time was terrible.

The food was delicious. We did think it was strange that they charged extra for steak sauce. Also the water glasses need to be bigger. Overall highly recommend - especially the goat cheese appetizer

This was our first time at Speers and it was a very enjoyable experience. To start, we were celebrating a birthday and there was a Happy Birthday card waiting for us on our table. It's a more warm, relaxing and casual atmosphere then other quality restaurants we've gone to while the quality of the food was top notch. The menu had nice selections and our meals were delicious. We had crab cakes which were some of the best we've ever eaten and we've had crab cakes at many high end Pittsburgh restaurants. My steak, a ribeye, was incredible. It was prepared just as I had ordered it and each bite was a joy. I was sad when I had to eat my last piece, LOL. Last, but certainly not least, the service was warm, friendly and personal. We will definitely be returning.

A great evening. The food was excellent. Ambience very nice. They did a great job renovating this space. Emily the server was amazing. Highly recommend this steakhouse.

The Japanese Wagyu was incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the rich, velvety Caymus wine. The bartender was wonderfully attentive, and the ambiance of the place made the experience even more enjoyable—a truly unforgettable pairing.

After an hour and a half never got our food and paid are bill for drinks and left …. 20 minutes to get water, 35 to get a drink and place an order, when they weren’t busy

Seeing that we love Breakneck and the Kaufmann Tavern (so much that we had our rehearsal dinner there) we had high hopes for Speers seeing the same owner is proprietor of all 3 properties. We were deeply disappointed in Speers. The food was nothing to write home about and served at a cold to medium temperature. No flavor or anything. We also had a reservation for 6:30pm and we didn’t leave the establishment until 8:30-8:45pm. The kitchen was very slow and no one had food except appetizers on their tables. For the low quality of the meal, lack of taste of the food and how long it took -$220+ for two of us after taxes and tip all said and done -we probably won’t be back. I hate saying it but the franchise steak houses are doing better. If this restaurant group wants to survive -it needs to be like Breakneck or Kaufmanns as the local tavern. Trying to be The Capital Grille isn’t working. The one thing that was bright was our servers were very professional-Liam the host was super kind and our waiter Andrew was very kind. I pray you folks can figure it out. I want you to be successful.
