   I’m generally weary of hotel restaurants but this one made me rethink that. Great good, awesome cocktails and excellent service.

   First visit to pennyflowe and it was delicious. Accompaniments with entrees not your standard which I loved.

   We dined in for lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves! The Shisito peppers were lovely! Our server Tucker was friendly and professional. He really made us feel like we were at home. About mid way through our meal we were approached by a woman (assume the manager) and asked us if everything was great. It was to which we replied. If you haven’t been to Pennyflower you should really give it a try. Food and service were both spectacular!

   If you have not been to Pennyflower Bistro you do not know what you are missing. The food is delicious & the staff is amazing! Our server Jessica did an excellent job. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the main dishes everything was exceptional! We can’t wait to go back!

   We had the best dinner! Our server and bartender was Billy. He gave the best dinner recommendations and was very attentive to our table. When I realized that he knew the menu and the drink offerings so well, I let him help me pick my dinner and the drinks to accompany. It was perfect!!!!! He also recommended the Halibut for my husband and it was perfect for his tastes! A total win. We traveled in for an event but loved the experience so much that we stopped by afterward for one more drink before we went home. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. The next time we come to town, we will plan to stay the night and really partake in more of the spot. Kudos to Billy as he really made the whole night for us.

   Service, food quality, and cocktails outstanding! We were greeted by a welcoming gentleman host and our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend the whipped feta toast and verde margarita! We will definitely be back for dinner!

   We reserved this as an anniversary dinner and because we had heard amazing things. On arrival, we provided our name and then proceeded to wait while they scrambled to figure out where to seat us. It seems possibly we made a reservation for what seemed to be a full house. We were seated somewhat awkwardly adjacent to the bar, as a lovely bartender took our drink order while asking if we were ready to order (having had our menus less than 2 minutes). Mocktails in hand, we were then greeted by the outstanding Billy who honestly was the best part of the evening - funny, lovely, attentive and apologetic for the mishap, he assured us he’d make us feel special and he did. The food itself sadly, was in short, uninspired, poorly executed and needs some work. The halibut dish though was something wonderful and special and would be the only reason I would reconsider returning. Overall, the price point is not high, which is great, as neither should your expectations coming here.

   We loved this place when it first opened. Our server, Olivia, was a bubbly, knowledgable and efficient server. It was clean. The food was great. Unfortunately, the two recent subsequent visits weren’t nearly as good. A very dirty wine glass and water pitcher, Olivia no longer there, left us looking forward to dining elsewhere. Our host picked up our glasses around the rim and touched our silverware /napkin multiple times as we sat down. Our server poured water over our menus spilling quite a lot on them leaving us to try to dry the paper to read them. Our Caesar salad was swimming in dressing which totally wilted the lettuce. The steak was too salty and overcooked. However, the chicken prassade and lychee martini were good. Previously. we got dessert to go. It was two small bites of cake and a few strawberries for $12. With so many great restaurants nearby I fear Pennyflower won’t fare well.

   Our food was delicious! We had the croquettes and burrata as appetizers and salads. All of the aforementioned were divine! We had burgers, chicken, and Nashville hot chicken for our entrees. Again, very delicious. The service was very slow. Also, it took a long time for our food to come out. I’d also say that the food was overpriced for what you got. Overall, a decent restaurant.
