The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.

Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following;
Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours.

If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked.

We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins.

Great place for very well brewed beers and the food was delicious and well prepared Great place to take the family food service is prompt and plenty of beers to choose from

Great atmosphere (the horse memorabilia was in my wheelhouse). The food and drinks were A1 and the service was really good. Heaps of people there, but wasn’t loud or crowded. Can highly recommend a beer, food or a session there at any time.

It was 28 degrees outside so if you are seating people inside it's probably a good idea to close the doors and switch the air conditioning on otherwise what's the point? Zero respite from the heat which was why we chose indoor seating. The music was far too loud, it's a restaurant not a club or CBD bar, and defo not appropriate for young families. The pokebowl said "fish of the day" but it was served raw. This is a very specific way to serve fish and if you're going to do that it should be highlighted on the menu, it was not. When I highlighted this to the manager I was met with "this is a your problem" attitude and told i couldn't swap it. I'm sure on another night this place could be considered kinda average, but our experience was poor.

The food was amazing but unfortunately did not all arrive together. Pizzas came almost straight away, two main meals followed 10 to 15 minutes later and the only child’s meal was the last to arrive probably 20 to 30 minutes after the pizzas. Pizzas were not shared meals. We now understand Pizza’s came from a different area in the kitchen but the server did not advise that when she placed them at the table and so we waited for awhile to be polite and then realise the other meals were delayed. However, not enough to dampen our experience. I have another Booking there tonight.!

I love this place it’s always busy, has a great atmosphere and just up the road from home in SAB. The beer (strapper) is always yum plus the pizzas are the best on the peninsula. As it was 36 degrees, it was hot and the water on the table was warm…but the lady bought some ice over to cool our drinks down. Service is always great when you’re seated in a stall as you really don’t have to move and everything is done for you plus they constantly come over to check for drinks and stuff. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious. We were seated in the 1st stall, the LIVE music was awesome. I would ask next time to be seater a bit further away as sitting that close it was hard to hear each other talk. That’s the only thing I would say, being that hot I suppose it wasn’t too bad as I didn’t have to talk much lol.

Great table service when a stable is booked. Stables are a great experience for a large family but hard to get at this time of year
