The magnificent Stamford Park Homestead was built in 1882 by the entrepreneurial Row family as a Gentleman’s Residence. After many years of neglect, the homestead and six acres of grounds have been aesthetically restored, allowing it to once again become the ‘Jewel in Knox City’.

Stamford Parks current custodians, have waved their ‘whimsical’ magic of both design and true hospitality over the beautiful estate and it is now a stunning property serving the public for what it was originally intended – a place to gather, meet, entertain and unwind.

    The venue is beautiful with a wide variety of food and drink options. There is lots of space so it's great for families with small children. The service was excellent, very attentive.

    I was very disappointed with the food my first course was scallops and they were in a very cold dish and I did mention this to the young waitress and she said she would let the chef know. I then had pasta and crayfish and the crayfish was burnt and so very dry I was so so disappointed and the pasta was overcooked. We came as we had never been here before and the photos looked so special. We will never come to eat here again.

    We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious, couldn't fault it. A little on the expensive side but the surroundings are beautiful and definitely worth paying a little extra for a special occasion.

    Ambience was excellent. Customer service overall was good. Food selection is good. Bouillabaisse was not great, very plain looking, some very small pieces of clams and fish, but decent prawns and mussels. Two accompanying pieces of bread were very thin and small.

    The meal was delicious served excellently but was disappointed we were relegated to the large room when I had told my party about the beautiful smaller room I had previously experienced.

    Fantastic service, very professional and prompt. We've been here twice and tried different food both times, incredible food to say the least. Highly recommend

    Nice place in an old homestead. Would have liked to have an outside view but alas already taken. The food was nice and priced accordinfgly steak 48.00 and lamb 42.00 I did think 4 lamb cutlets were a bit too many but I'm aware larger appetitites would be happy. Both cooked perfectly. Limited choice for dessert, quite disappointed with Apple tatin, a little soggy and quite basic. Happy to give it another try, 4 stars.
