We celebrated a birthday dinner at Stekoa Creek. The most favorites of our food was the charred brussel sprouts appetizer, the pan seared scallops, Bone-in ribeye with cowboy butter, and the chopped salad with steak. One in our party got the chicken based on other reviews and recommendations but was not impressed. Most all of the food was very good. we got seated promptly but our service was slow. I want to clarify that the food came out in a timely manner, but service getting our drinks, order, refills, etc was too lengthy. Our server forgot a couple of things we asked for and had a mix up on our paying. She had a table side by side to us and it seemed to be difficult for her. She made a nonchalant remark that she got things confused. She was very nice, just overwhelmed. We tried to be "easy" and did not complain , she was trying. We enjoyed our time. But, if the service had been better, I could have written a much cleaner review. I don't know if we will risk the chicken again but, the rest was very good and we will be back again some day. I won't base everything on one experience as we know things can be hard sometimes. It is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion.
