Stofa is built on a passion for food, traditional and modern cooking methods, and creativity. We look to the ingredients to bridge the gap between time-honoured techniques and modern progression, producing a comfortable, inventive, and evocative dining experience.

Stofa's name represents a place of warmth and comfort where people can gather to eat, drink and be with friends. We proudly support local and sustainable products, and participate in the farm and food community, all while providing guests with vibrant and engaging food presented in an approachable yet innovative dining setting.

Located in the vibrant Wellington West area of Ottawa, Stofa offers a 3 or 5 course table d'hote menu which changes regularly. We offer patio dining (weather dependent) and have a private room available for large groups or professional meetings.

Join us at Stofa for New Year's Eve 2024. We will be offering an 8-course tasting menu with seating times between 5:30-6:15PM. Please note we will not be having a later seating through midnight. Come enjoy a great evening to start off your New Year's Eve celebrations! Optional wine pairing ($90) will be available *only minor adjustments for restrictions or allergies can be made with this menu. Please contact the restaurant if major dietary restrictions are needed. **credit card confirmation is required to make the booking, and a strict 48hr cancellation policy will be enforced for any cancellations or no-shows (customer will be charged full menu price per person)

Stofa is one of our favourite restaurants anywhere. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious, beautiful, and clever. The wine list is excellent and the cocktails are wonderful. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time we visited. Note: the kitchen does a wonderful job of accommodating food sensitivities. We look forward to our next visit.

The food was wonderfully creative, with unusual combinations that worked beautifully. The seasoning was spot on while also being intriguing. Service was exemplary. It didn't matter who you spoke with, all the staff were well-versed with the menu. They don't have a lot of staff and everyone seemed to pitch in. Noise is usually an issue for us, but not at Stofa. We loved the discrete funky music and looked around to see what had been done to ensure that it didn't overpower the room. A lot! All in all, a wonderful experience and exceptional meal.

As usual, we had a fantastic time. The ambiance was great , the staff were professional , friendly and informative , the food presentation and the taste was unbelievable. We come to Stofa as an annual event , a get-together with good friends in November. Always look forward to it and then to the following year. In fact, we may decide to make it a semi-annual event. Thanks so much from the 4 of us.

It was a wonderful diner. The chef masters the mixture of texture and savors in each plate. We choose the three-course menu, adding oysters at the beginning. From the beginning to the end, it was a feast for our pallet. Not to forget, the waiter who was very knowledgeable. So it was A+++

Server forgot our drink pairings and started it late, served one of us the wrong dessert, asked us if we wanted leftovers twice and still forgot to give it to us when we left and ignored us when we were waiting outside to talk to her to ask where it was. Also waited around 10mins for the hostess and ended up getting the attention of the bartender to be seated. Food however was a 15/10, hope service will be better if we decide to dine there again.

Its our first visit at Stofa's. It was a nice experience. We took the 3-course option. It was plenty. The food was very good and combinations were creative. The service was good. We didn't feel rushed. In an open concept, the tables were nicely spaced out giving some privacy. We were disappointed in wine selection. It was very limited.
