Los socios y chefs Jeff Mahin y Francis Brennan, de la empresa Lettuce Entertain You, traen su famoso concepto de estilo californiano, el Summer House Santa Monica, a Pike & Rose, en North Bethesda, Maryland. Bring your little chefs to Summer House for Kids Pizza Making! Every Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, kids 12 and under can craft their own pizzas at the official pizza counter with our chefs for $7.95 plus tax (gratuity not included). Or opt for our tableside option, and have all the ingredients delivered to your table for the whole family to get in on the fun! Kids will wash their hands, use the flour to form the dough, spread their choice of red or white sauce, and build their zah with cheese and toppings of their choice. Once our team pops it in the oven, the pizza will be delivered back to your family’s table for an a-dough-able dinner. Please note, Kids Pizza Making is not offered during the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

Server was phenomenal. Drinks were terrible- had to tell the server how to make a French 75 which is a pretty typical drink and it came back on ice- never happened that way before and then when was remade, it tasted like flat lemon water. Substituted fries for a side salad which was a few pieces of lettuce. So paid $35 for crab cakes with some lettuce on the side. Disappointed overall other than our wonderful server.

My wife and I enjoyed an early Saturday brunch at Summer House. She had the blueberry pancakes and I had the 3-egg breakfast. The food was well prepared and very tasty. The portions were large. We shared a huge cinnamon bun to end the meal! The service was excellent. We will return.

Our server was really nice. But she was busy and the service was slow from the beginning, food was average. Dirty plates not removed. There are so many places in this area, I’m not sure I would pick this over the other restaurants.

Salmon nachos were too salty. Nacho/wontons didn’t hold the toppings well. Very mediocre.

It was a big group of us and our server was great -Justin. Food was yum and atmosphere had a nice vibe. They turned music down as it was blaring at 530 pm. Appreciated they did that so we could converse easily. Will definitely go back.
