For great food, attentive, but not pushy, service -you can’t beat Summer Place. Gorgeous view of downtown and the lake, plus a dozen trees regaled in vibrant lights that brighten up the view to the north-west. This is on our short list for a reliably wonderful meal.

Food was fresh and tasty. Our first time there for lunch. Many choices, it was difficult to choose which meal to try . We will be going again. We sat by the window looking out over the city skyline, very nice.

My first time here and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and I was shocked by the cost. I thought it would be more! I'll definitely be back!

Great brunch menu. Food was excellent - the cinnamon bun was sinfully good. Service was perfection. The non-alcoholic beverage choices, for those who do Dry January, was great. The noise level was minimum even though it was fairly crowded.

Best view in town! Fantastic service and don’t skip the grilled oysters! The General Manager made sure to stop by and make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Terrific New Year's Eve experience and dinner at Summer Place. It was a special prix fixe menu and they did a great job with each course and the service was also terrific. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that one person in our party requires gluten free. We called in advance to confirm that their prix fixe menu accomodated gluten free (3 of the 5 courses were noted as gluten free on teh menu, when we arrived). The two courses that didn't note gluten free were the salad course (that may have been a typo because they were able to provide the same salad for our gluten free friend) but there was no gluten free desert. It seemed like an oversight on a terrific menu and evening. Kudos to the chef and Summer Place team for a lovely evening. We hope there is a full gluten free menu option in future years because we'd enjoy returing.

We had a lovely brunch at Summer Place! The restaurant is so clean, comfortable and enjoyable. The food was awesome and the service was great!

Holly was a professional who provided very good service to the table. We had a lovely table with a great view of the city and the multicolored lit trees outside. The ambience was awesome-- modern and immaculate with a sense of spaciousness. Even more important, the menu was pretty well marked for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options (although there are some misleading GF labels that should be labeled as GFO). Our entrees were truly delicious -- even our fussy grandsons were impressed. It was a memorable GF birthday experience for my husband.
