At Sushi Lounge we offer Grade A sushi and sashimi, as well as delicious entrees. Enjoy our spectacular special rolls crafted by our sushi chefs. We provide the complete package, with a full sake, wine, and beer list and a fully stocked bar. With a DJ four nights a week and a vibrant lounge to enjoy our hand-crafted cocktails.

Omakase means " I leave it up to you", please join us for an exclusive Omakase Experience presented by our Sushi Chefs, where we will serve a 12-course dinner. With this dinner, we will have two starters and multiple nigiri courses with specialty items being brought in daily. We will also offer an optional Sake pairing as an addition to your Omakase experience. We hope to take you on a journey. Available Thursday to Saturday seatings at 6 pm and 8 pm with limited seating. For parties larger than four please contact us at 973-540-1500.

If you want to be a profitable and sucsesfull restaurant and stop annoying customers with the credit card fees charge backs, here’s some advice: 1.Hire Exceptional Staff: Employ skilled waitstaff who are fluent in English, attentive to customers’ needs, and capable of understanding and anticipating requests. 2.Prioritize Service Speed: Ensure food is brought out promptly. Guests shouldn’t be left waiting at their table without something to occupy or delight them, even if they don’t order extras. A small gesture, like complimentary bread or an amuse-bouche, shows care and attentiveness. 3.Satisfy Special Requests: If the kitchen has the ingredients, make an effort to accommodate special food requests. Going the extra mile creates loyal customers. 4.End on a High Note: Offer a complimentary treat at the end of the meal—a small dessert or a drink. These thoughtful gestures leave a lasting impression and encourage repeat visits. Ultimately, stop obsessing over minor costs and focus on delivering an excellent experience. If you can’t meet these basic expectations, perhaps it’s time to reconsider your approach—or step aside.

The new location is gorgeous. Same excellent service and food and they’ve added agedashi tofu to the menu now!

Food was very good! We got the short rib bao buns which I would definitely get again. The shishito peppers were very salty and pretty bland. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. The cocktails were what you would expect for the money. The service was very slow! Not the worst thing because the atmosphere is great but it took a while to get our food. We arrived at 8:30 and got our dinner around 10:30.

Had an exceptional time visiting Sushi Lounge with my date on a Friday evening. Live DJ dropped some ambiance friendly music - I had the Motown Roll and Short Rib Robata. The robata was complex and savory; the Motown sushi roll was a nice blend of creamy and crunchy with the exactly right amount of snap. The cocktails were obviously made with care and fit the meal to a t in terms of taste and suitability. The service was on point, and both my date and myself were happy with the care put into our requests. Both timely and adding a little extra, giving us a full assortment of sauces to dip our sushi rolls into. Cannot recommend more, 5 stars.

Food was varied and quite good. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The rolls were interesting and, in each case, has a great texture. Drinks were good too.
