Experience the timeless tradition of afternoon tea at Sweet Marie’s Tea Cottage, nestled in the heart of Wickford Village. Our menu features a beautiful assortment of finger sandwiches, and freshly baked scones and desserts to complement our classic tea blends. Reservations are required. Thursday-Friday Services: Cream Tea at 10am and Afternoon Tea at 12pm and 2pm. Saturday Services: Afternoon Tea at 12pm and 2pm. Sunday Services: Afternoon Tea at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. Lots of potential at SW's. On our visit it was a quiet sitting with just a few tables seated. The staff did not provide any service beyond the minimal, and were busy working around us in the restaurant cleaning the floor and setting things up for an upcoming event. Such "housecleaning" and event prep activity significantly detracted from the environment and experience. No one inquired about our experience, and at the end we had to go up to the cashier to check out. Wasn't the unique afternoon "tea experience" I was expecting. Left disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere and plate settings for tea, scones, sandwiches and sweets. The food was bites full of yumminess. Just enough food for each person. Reservations a must and they cater to allergies. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. The venue is very very pretty. Definitely the best afternoon tea I've had and I visit a lot of afternoon tea establishments!!!

The new location is perfect. Still intimate but so much light it made it so lovely on a cold winter day. Service was excellent, attentive but also we never felt rushed. Tea was hot and prepared perfectly. Very relaxing afternoon.

This is the second time I’ve been to Sweet Marie’s. Lindsey and her staff deliver impeccable service and delicious food. The first time I went was with a British friend who gave her seal of approval and felt like she was right at home. For a celebration or just a nice afternoon to relax I highly recommend Sweet Marie’s!!
