Top rated Open Table Diner's Choice for 7 years running. Our chef-owner Brandon Hufnagel is a Culinary Institute of America alumni and has spent over 30 years in the hospitality industry.
Built in 1837 and beautifully restored, Table 1837 features dining areas adorned by linen draped tables, rough hewn beams, original stone and brick work, a spring-fed fountain, wine cellar dining, outdoor patio, a bar and lounge areas.
A scenic drive, 15 minutes from York-PA, 40 minutes from Baltimore-MD or Harrisburg-PA, 50 min from Gettysburg-PA or Lancaster-PA.

The menu includes a shared appetizer from our 2-dine menu, an entree choice from our 2-dine menu for each guest, showcasing some of our seasonal favorites like our 4-hour cola braised beef short rib a fish/seafood option and a third featured entree, plus a shared dessert. $89 plus tax and gratuity per couple. **Menus will be posted on our Facebook page at the beginning of each week.

    Love being back in Glen Rock at 1837! This restaurant is a unique historical spot for a great dinner. Food was fantastic for the value, we were stuffed. The presentation of our meals; halibut with couscous medley and chicken with vegetables was 5 star, cooked to perfection. Lobster bisque was wonderful too. Everything was delicious and flavorful…thank you chef! Our waiter was above par! We were confused by what we had read in the past about 1837, with regard to a previously prix fixe menu. We could order anything off the menu or choose from the specials. The menu has some lovely options. The cocktails are generous for the price compared to other restaurants. The ambiance was quiet with table lighting. We also enjoyed eating while listening to the pianist who started playing at 6:00. We will definitely be back!

    We celebrated our anniversary at Table 1837 tonight. We ordered the 5 course meal. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was great and every course was delicious. We will definitely be back!

    My husband and I have eaten at The Table 1837 multiple times and the service and food never disappoint us. The atmosphere is quiet, elegant, and romantic.

    Very nice old mill inn. Very pleasing to the eye very inviting from the outside, nice and quaint inside, all staff were very nice and attentive. The food was above average, and I would recommend giving this place a try. Definitely worth a visit!
