   What a wonderful experience we had. The food was outstanding and the staff was marvelous. Will definitely be returning.

   Here’s a draft of your negative review, clear and respectful while firmly expressing your experience: --- Extremely Disappointed with Management – Great Food, But Terrible Experience We recently visited this restaurant and while the food itself was delicious and our waitress Chloe was absolutely wonderful, the experience was completely soured by the manager’s unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. We simply brought up an issue regarding how unequally the food portions were served. Instead of listening and handling the matter with care, the manager chose to argue and prove his point by bringing out mismatched plates. Despite us clearly stating that we didn’t want additional food, he brought more to the table anyway—completely disregarding our wishes. This wasn’t a solution, it felt like a power move. We weren’t looking for free food—we just wanted fairness and acknowledgment. What made it worse was the way the situation was escalated. Chloe, our server, actually stood up for us, which we really appreciated. But shortly after, it seemed like the kitchen staff had been informed and began eyeing our table, creating an incredibly uncomfortable environment. It felt hostile, and frankly, made us wonder about the intent behind the extra food brought out. Would it be safe to eat? We honestly didn’t know, and that’s a terrible feeling to have in a place where you're supposed to enjoy a meal. To top it off, we couldn’t help but question—if we had been a table of white customers, would we have been treated the same way? We were the only Black patrons in the restaurant at the time, and that question still lingers in our minds. This kind of management is unacceptable. If the manager is related to the owner or is the owner—how disappointing and unprofessional. A retraining in customer service and basic respect is definitely needed. Great food, but we will not be returning due to the manager’s appalling behavior.

   The sushi was fresh and flavorful. We tried the spicy salmon carpaccio and the garlic shrimp olive oil which were amazing! The wagyu skewers were as tender as we expected them to be. The waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. It lived up to our expectations!!

   Another great experience at Takaramono. Variety and quality of food has always been top flight. Now they have worked out all of the table service-related kinks that are typical of a new restaurant and it is exceptional, as well.

   The ambiance is lovely for a moody evening dinner. The food was delicious. The oysters were the freshest i’ve had in okc (other than at sedalias, which is equally as fresh). They have a delicious chef’s choice sashimi, sake for every palette, wagyu, and more. Take waiter recommendations and you wont be disappointed. One of the best sushi restaurants in OKC.

   Excellent food. Attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. Desserts were excellent. Felt like I was in a NYC restaurant in OKC. Price points were extremely reasonable.

    This was our first visit to Takaramono. My husband and I tried the king salmon sushi, the shrimp tempura temaki, the scallop sashimi, the wagyu beef skewer, and the fried rice. They were all exceptional, both in presentation as well as taste. We were also able to try 4 of their desserts: the raspberry earl grey mousse cake, the lemon, as well as jasmine tea ice cream and pistachio ice cream. Beautiful and flavorful!
