At Takja, we take pride in offering a warm and inviting space where guests can gather with family and friends to experience Korean BBQ. Chefs Jeff Kang & Edward Bang bring their culinary imagination to the table, crafting a menu that celebrates the diverse flavors of Korea. Guests will enjoy fresh seafood and in-house dry-aged meats with a heavy focus on fermentation, along with a carefully curated selection of wines and signature cocktails, which elevate traditional Korean spirits. Located in the West End, Takja offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for experiencing a special memory of a Korean BBQ or just having a good time.

The Hansang (table full of food) with seafood tower, ayce banchan and grill was awesome. Lots of food, great value, quality was fantastic. Service was chill and friendly but attentive. They grill everything for you!

Top to bottom 5 star experience. Service was causal, warm and attentive. We ordered the hansang (basically chef's choice) and felt it was an incredible value at $135 pp. There were 4 different cuts of meat included (iberico pork, aged striploin, marinated galbi, A5 waygu) and they were incredibly delicious when eaten alone or with the plethora of banchan. The meat was expertly grilled and served with care, a real dining treat to be so hands off during a KBBQ experience. All the ingredients and accompaniments were top quality. The space itself is not large, and we really appreciated not being rushed due to quick reservation turnovers. Highly recommend for a special occasion, will definitely be returning!

Exceptional experience! This was our second visit to Takja BBQ and we truly had a wonderful evening… The cuisine, the atmosphere and the service were unparalleled and I would highly recommend. The beef (ribeye and wagyu sirloin) was delicious and accompanied by the barbecued vegetables; made for a delicious man course. Repeat dishes from my previous visit included the mushroom and rice dish and the green bean salad. I also want to make note that the service across the board was courteous, knowledgeable, professionalism and helpful. Thank you. I look forward to dining at Takja BBQ again.

10/10 night. So great - the music was on point, service was beyond! We opted for the table of food and we were blown away with the quality and amount. Don’t skip the shaved ice dessert it was an absolute highlight! We live in the east end and it’s hard to cross town - we will cross town to come back here definitely worth it!

Food was excellent, very good quality ingredients and the service was well executed. The only thing negative I would say is our waiter was rushing us a bit. Asking if drinks were finished when they weren't, taking dishes away before the dish was empty.

Awesome dinner at Takja! The food and drinks were amazing and the service was superb. Best part is they do the cooking for you in front of you! Highly recommended and we will be returning!

A true dining experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional. Peter was our main server and he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu, what should be eaten with what, and an excellent griller. We went for a special family dinner with our mostly grown kids and it blew everyone’s minds. Worth every penny.
