2.5 rating, actually. Underwhelming. Our sides came to the table cold, the drinks were mediocre and service was very slow. Several things didn’t go our way, (beer taps just came back online the day previous, so selection was very meager, and a 17 seat table placed orders right before ours) but there was no explanation from our server as to why things were so delayed and cold. A little explanation would have gone a long way. The building is interesting step back in time.

We enjoyed everything we had from the appetizers to the desserts (plural in both categories). Colton provided excellent service.

The service was fair. The bathroom were herendous. They serious need some updates clean and paint. The food was good

The collard greens were cold and flavorless and the rest of the food was mediocre at best. I would not go back. If you want a nice Talbott experience, just go sit at the bar and have some cocktails - but go somewhere else to eat - we were just very disappointed because we were so excited about having dinner in this iconic venue and everything fell flat.

Restaurant was Unorganized, mismanaged, understaffed, had poor quality of food, had insanely long waits for everything...extremely disappointing. The tavern bar was even worse & filthy. The bartender was very unskilled, even for basic mixed drinks in the Bourbon capital! He also carried large individual ice cubes across the bar to place in the glass with his bare nasty hands! 🤢 I'm trying to remember even one thing positive about either place...I've got 0

It was fine. The burgoo was our first experience with the dish and it was incredibly salty - it was unpleasantly dominated by the Worcestershire. We're not sure if it was typical of the dish or a poorly flavored version. The rest of our meals were fine, decent, but nothing worth recommending. Service was efficient and pleasant.

The food was horrible. Great place to visit, but don't waste your money on the food. Cold vegetables, cold green beans, and the gravy is from a jar. Better options are available in Bardstown.

My reservation was at 7:30pm, the peak of the dining experience. I was seated immediately. Yes, there was a lot of noise from patrons, and the server was delayed. But, when Kennedy arrived, all was well. I ordered an Old Fashioned and the pork ribeye. All was perfect! At the end of the meal, Kennedy told me about the room upstairs where Jesse James slept after imbibing too much alcohol. It was astounding! It’s a great experience. Thank you!
