Celebramos el aniversario con mi esposo y pasamos una noche muy agradable! El mesero nos tomó fotos y nos dieron un obsequio por nuestro aniversario. Quedamos muy satisfechos

Ya no es un restaurante argentino, no hay el pan tradicional de entrada están enfocados en la barra, 0 ambiente familiar. La comida llego tibia al servir ya estaba fría ya que con el cambio de muebles ahora la parrillera es solo un adorno no la traen caliente, carne insípida y pollo aliñado exageradamente;colocan el %20 por una atención decente. Si quieres ir a tomar y escuchar reggaetón está bien pero no esperes un ambiente familiar ni un restaurante argentino.

While there isn’t exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are located in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country’s plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where we decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It’s now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can’t recommend.

The food was excellent and the drinks were on point. The service was a little slow but we were not in a rush so it didn’t matter. My steak was cold when it came out but the taste was still delicious so I didn’t care.

The service and ambiance was really good. The drinks were expensive. We had the best octopus appetizer ever. The main meals were mixed, some items were delicious while others just average. The salad and fries were underwhelming.

Had 7:30 reservations and were seated within a few minutes. We got our wine and Quilmes and 2 empanadas, which came out quickly. We then waited ONE HOUR before our server came back to take our dinner order. Another 30+ minutes and our steak and ribs came out. The ribs were mostly fat, the skirt steak was hard and the knives didn’t cut, so we got VERY frustrated. I also ordered a salad with my meal and it never came out, but they tried to charge me for it. It took forever to get the eye of one of the greeters who then took the salad off the check when I told her I’m not paying for something I didn’t get. My family is Argentinian and this food was definitely NOT up to par. The best part of the whole experience was the valet - he was so nice and happy! Too bad the rest of the experience wasn’t as good as the valet!
