TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

    Vibrant and noisy but a fun place to dine in a cavernous space. Food was great...the hot and sour soup which was the best I've ever had...great pad thai as well... meat dishes are pricy at $60-$90 without sides

    Tao at Mohegan is a winner every time!! Our server Tina was fantastic and the food is always top notch. Favorite spot at Mohegan!!

    Service was excellent. We had the egg drop soup, chicken pad Thai and the fried rice. Everything was delicious.

    Lovely venue, loved the Quan Yin statue and ambiance. Cocktails were amazing and food worth the price!

    The servers were great. The DJ was playing some obnoxious HipHop music for essentially a white, middle aged crowd and at a noise level that ruined the ambiance: TAO/Buddha atmosphere - I think not. I spoke w/ him and he toned it down a bit. As a DJ he needs to pay more attention to customers and setting. We ordered duck and lobster fried rice. Terrible. Happy I didn't order anything more elaborate and $$$. I ordered an Irish coffee and got a cup of coffee with a shot of Jameson's whiskey. No sweetened whip cream topper. I had the option of adding Bailey's to it to get some cream in it I guess; I didn't want the extra alcohol. The chocolate mousse dessert w/ ice cream & brownie was best part. If you can make a chocolate mousse, surely you can make a simple Irish coffee.
