TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

    Food exceeded my expectations. Sushi and pad Thai both fresh and very tasty and well presented. Service was excellent. Wait staff very knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing. Ambiance was not conducive to a relaxing meal. Music was a bit frenetic pop and absolutely way too loud. Had a hard time hearing the wait staff or my husband across the table. Very dark and the giant goddess in the middle of the dining room was kinda creepy when she opened her eyes and closed the and changed colors.

    The ambiance of Tao is amazing. Love the dj and the art. The food is phenomenal and worth the cost. I’ve eaten here plenty of times alone and with family. It’s always a great experience.

    Andrew was a great bartender. Very attentive and polite. The food was amazing, and the music was just loud enough to vibe to but still converse with others.

    It was wonderful from the host, waitress and service staff it was awesome. The DJ was great too. We celebrated my mom’s 90th bday!! She loved it😊

    We ordered a bunch of small plates and a plate of noodles. Delish! Recommend crispy shrimp dumplings, the fried noodles and dragon ribs.

    We had the Shanghai fried rice and the Hong Kong fried noodles. Both had great flavor. I’d prefer to add some mushrooms to the rice dish and a bit more protein to to the noodle dish.
