Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Tap 42 is home to a unique combination of classic and beloved pub foods as well as some new favorites. Favorite dishes include Asian-style coleslaw, oven-baked shrimp mac and cheese, Cajun grilled grouper and the avocado turkey burger. We frequent Tap 42 often and return due to the outstanding experience. The only issue we had last night is the customers at the next table brought 3 dogs. One was very well behaved and 2 were very rambunctious, to say the least. They even chewed and disconnected the holiday lights on the tree. The owners did nothing. The waitress had to point it out to them. Then when leaving, they expected us to step over the dogs. We love dogs but people should be advised when bringing them, your business is not a dog park. Just want to point out if someone tripped over one of those dogs, your company holds the liability.

Always enjoy here Food is good But, the music is so loud We were sitted outside, music loud and people’s voices carried, had to talk loudly to be heard

Fantastic Experience! The ribs were some of the best I've had. Incredibly meaty, perfect amount of sauce, delicious flavor! The blackened mahi was fresh and delicious. Guac with city corn queso also a hit. I tried several tap beers - beer flight. Amazing variety, complexity and flavor experiences! Wow! Highly recommend this place! I'm going back on Monday for the burger night! I hear it's the bomb!

This place used to be a go to. Food quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Not a good combo. We won't go back.

We well never go back, after years of frequenting the place, years! we will never return. The outdoor space is as pleasant as it ever was, and with prior lapses with the food, or occasionally the service, we always opted for a return. But never again! We first ordered cocktails, there were five of us, and the order was grossly delayed (the restaurant was 50-60% full, with many empty tables, and the delay was inordinate. Upon delivery, one drink was wrong, two not done well, "weak" said both, one other, a specialty cocktail, was odd, kept, but deemed odd, and the fifth was fine. Of the the appetizers- four, one was cold upon arrival, two a spinach dip, the other a house specialty guac, came with STALE, GREASY, house made corn chips which after after one bite were inedible. The spinach dip was fine, the guac, rancid. And the entrees were OK, nothing to order again, just OK. Our server was OK, attentive, responsive when she could be, but the back-up staff, kitchen servers, bar servers, were not. There is no value to be had there; none. Despite the great space we ain't going back. NEVER!
