TAS Restaurants offer a contemporary Turkish style and warm, friendly atmosphere, and our first branch The Cut is perfect for any occasion. All dishes are prepared by highly skilled chefs using fresh, seasonal produce to the highest standard offering a delicious mix of classic and modern dishes, all served daily.

Slow service - we weren’t offered a drink on arrival, couldn’t attract attention and the bread we had ordered took ages to come. Food ok but over salted. Good baklava and coffee though!

we haven't been to TAS for a long time and remembered it as good but not exciting. But what a disappointing experience! the food was very mediocre - starters better than mains which were just plain bad! Particularly the falafel main, which was dry with far too many falafel and not enough flavour. The wait times for mains were very long, particularly given this was a pre-theatre menu. We certainly won't be back!

Good honest food at honest prices. I had the pre theatre option of 2 courses and wine for £35. Very generous portions that I could not finish.

Food was not bad at all and service was pretty good. We waited too long for the mains but we did not mind as the cooking was excellent. However ambiance and general cleanliness were issues. Especially downstairs bathroom area was smelly, dirty and very run down with broken glasses and cracked mirrors. Not fair for the prices they charge!…

Dear Meltem, Thank you for your feedback. Your visit was during our busiest time before theatre, yet we minimised the wait for your main courses. We followed your reservation notes, seating you at a window table, and checked multiple times during your visit to ensure you were happy, with no feedback received at the time. Regarding the smell, it is a building issue beyond our control and unrelated to cleanliness. We are continuously working to improve the situation through regular maintenance. Additionally, there are no broken glasses or cracked mirrors that could harm anyone. The material on the bathroom doors is not glass, and poses no risk to our guests. Have used this branch and Borough many times over the years so was very disappointed with service. Took 20 minutes before we were asked about drinks and they had no Efe so we had to have Peroni. Asked twice for water. At no point during our meal did anyone come and check all was ok or ask if we needed anything , we had to call them over every time. It just did not seem there were enough staff, one waiter spent most of his time on mobile phone! Then 2 disappeared leaving 1 serving, 1 pouring drinks and 2 chefs! I had purposely booked the table as there were 9 of us after visit the theatre but they seemed overwhelmed by walk ins. The food itself was as lovely as always but the lack of staff was pie.

the welcome was very warm, the menu offers a wide choice, the service does not delay. the dishes are very well cooked, the portions are sufficient. We had a very pleasant time and will remember this restaurant.
