Tavern in the Square West Hartford is a fun, exciting environment located in Corbins Corner. This location offers an open floor plan with a 60 seat bar. We feature 31 beers on draft, craft cocktails and delicious food created by our culinary team and executed in our scratch kitchen. Tavern West Hartford features a patio as well as a full open air environment when weather permits. If you are a sports fan, we have you covered with 23 TVs located throughout the restaurant. This is a phenomenal spot to celebrate a special occasion or just meet up with friends for an incredible dining experience

    Waiter was ok. Local Alvarium Phresh Beer was good. Cheese steak wrap sounded great, but it tasted like something you’d pick up at the frozen isle of your local Pricerite on the first of the month. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was just weird, not spicy at all and had a very off putting, maybe even expired, sweet taste. Fries with either dish were mediocre at best. Waiter gets an ok, only because he suggested we stay clear of the wings. Had he told us to grab a drink at the bar and ordered us door dash McDonald’s, he would have gotten 5 stars.

    They were very accommodating. They were eight of us two were children under five.  the server was attentive and polite and was always checking on us to make sure that we were happy with our choices. Since my third time there and I’ve had all good experience.

    Brussels sprouts were ok but too big to be crispy as titled. GF pizza was fantastic. Chicken tenders were good. Service was ok but server was too consumed with prepping for closing and going home. Overall above average.

    Kitchen and bar were slow - we came early at 5pm and there were people there for football it shouldn't take 20 min for a beer! Server was excellent@

    Server was very good, friendly and helpful. Bartender wouldn’t make a manhattan on a single rock, would only do it up. While we always appreciate the gluten free options, smokin’ tater tots were cold. They quickly replaced them. My son and I ordered the same burger. His had no bacon, mine had no pico. My other son said his steak tips were cooked perfectly. If this restaurant could work on consistency, my rating would be a 5.

    Went for brunch for my first time. Had to send plates back due to burnt pancakes and toast. Ham was overbooked and dry. Not sure if they were short a cook but those plates shouldn’t have made it to the table from the kitchen nor the waitress’s hands of her eyes were paying attention. Service was slow. Drinks to awhile to come out. It was pretty busy so I’ll give the server some grace with that. I’ve been for lunch before and had better service.
