Food was very tasty. We had the tinga and salmon. I really liked both. Classy and fun atmosphere. Very friendly staff and service was great. The flight Tequila was really good and very smooth. It’s quite loud but a fun environment. Great for special occasions. I would not go here for everyday Mexican food because it is a bit pricy but I still enjoyed it. They had unique items here that you can’t get from a typical mom and pop Mexican restaurant.

The food was very fresh and flavorful. Cocktails were creative and did not disappoint and the service was excellent, quick but not rushed! Will be returning again!

The food was not on par with the price. We ordered three dishes, each one had issues. The meats were dry, the rice was hard, and what was advertised " crab" tuned out to be imitation crab.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. We had concert tickets for an 8:00 show so I made reservations for 6:15 just to be safe. We arrived at 6:17 but it took until 6:54 to seat us. Making the reservation really did us no good. In their defense, it looks like they get one huge wave (it was a weeknight), then that's it. One seating, not really a turn of the tables. They were packed to the gills and just seated too many and missed out on saving a table for us. I was a restaurant manager for 8 years so I know things like this can happen. I'm just surprised that it took almost 40 minutes to seat us and we were only 2 people. Since we had a time constraint, we even would have taken bar seating. The hostess was apologetic and did her best to get us seated. When we were finally seated, Ernesto took great care of us despite waiting on a large amount of tables by himself. I had the enchiladas verde, my wife had the chiles relleno. Both were very good. We love the decor, the food was very good, friendly staff and the margaritas were terrific. We will be back, just on an occasion where we're not on the clock.

I don't normally write reviews for restaurants, but after heavily researching where I would go out for dinner in Sacramento, I feel the need to make a post. Generally, this restaurant gets four stars plus on review sites, and I saw a note on their website for Michelin in 2019, so I thought it would be great. I also booked because their mocktails looked good. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. The shrimp was cooked but cold. It also came out really fast, so it couldn't been waiting for the server for a while. It doesn't take long to cook shrimp, so I don't understand why it wasn't made to order. Additionally, the mocktails on the menu in the restaurant were quite different and seemed much more basic. Really underwhelming. I left pretty quickly to find freshly cooked hot food.

Overall, it was a good dining experience. However, there were some issues with the service, including an entrée order not being put in on time (and there were only two diners). The boozy, arty tequila bar vibe was fun, and the food was actually quite good with really good, big flavors. Dessert, however, was very poor, including a chocoflan where the chocolate cake was hard and dried out. Ending the meal on the low point of dessert was disappointing, so I left feeling like the value was middling at best. That said I, would go back with a bigger group and be more strategic in what I ordered. And I would definitely do dessert at a different location.
