At Thompson’s Tex-Ken Ranch Steakhouse, we are deeply committed to the true farm-to-table experience. All of our beef is locally raised at the Tex-Ken Ranch in Bluff Dale, Texas, where we take great pride in ensuring that our cattle are free from hormones and antibiotics, delivering the highest quality meat both nutritionally and ethically. They are then processed in-house at our state-inspected facility, Thompson’s Custom Meats in Dublin, Texas. Steaks are cooked over a wood burning grill using Hardwood also sourced from the Tex-Ken Ranch. From our ranch to the table, we guarantee a dining experience that celebrates the best of local and sustainable farming.

Everything was great! I like the simplicity of the menu but still a broad selection. Price was fair $128 for two steaks with add ons, two sides and a tea and an alcohol drink plus tip. Service was great, I loved the whole experience.

Great food. Great people. This is how a western steakhouse should look and be ran. From the tender tasty steaks, to the rustic atmosphere and service, this is how it should be done. Looking forward to many more visits.

The ribeye and shrimp were delicious. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was kind, attentive and efficient. We will definitely return.

We shared one of the best steaks we have had. The atmosphere is wonderful. Both times we have been there one of the owners has stopped by the table to ask about our experience.

Great experience! Really neat environment, service was great and the food was top notch. There were four of us and we had a mix of steaks and a chick fried steak, all were great and the streaks were cooked exactly how they were ordered. Highly recommend!

Steaks were tender cook to perfection but they smoke em a little I don’t prefer that wasn’t to strong just every once in a will with a bite. Salad and baked potato was very good
