We went back to Thats Amore the day after Valentine's Day and had a great experience! The restaurant was buzzing with a great vibe, the food (especially the special crab pasta) was delicious - filled with flavor! We've been coming here for years and it was great to see it's still a wonderful place for a dinner out.

Visited That's Amore with friends on a Friday, late afternoon into evening. It's a quaint neighborhood spot in Mt. Baker. We went for the Caprese, Bruschetta, and Bread n Butter to start. By-the-way, the bread is not on the house. We then turned our attention to the entrees. The Lasagna with Spicy Sausage, Bucatini Carbonera with Pancetta and Smokey Bacon, the Fettuccine Afredo with Shrimp, the Chef's Catch (which was Halibut with Mushroom Risotto), and the Dungeness Crab Pappardelle were all delightful. There wasn't a complaint in the group. We capped it off with a couple Tiramisus, a Decadence, and Cannoli. We Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the view of Seattle from our table.

The food, the service, the view, the ambience. All were amazing, as always. The Manhattan was perfect and the Amore Salad made for an excellent starter. My husband had the halibut special over a mushroom risotto, which was delicious. Also ordered the rigatoni with beef, pork, and bacon in a cream sauce, which was rich and flavorful. Finally, the Dungeness crab parpadelle, which is always a hit. The tiramisu and coffee were icing on the cake. Combine the amazing food with views of the downtown skyline and friendly service, it was a wonderful date night.

Not a good experience. Service was abrupt and unfriendly, no attention to interior decoration and atmosphere, overcooked and over priced meal.

Looks like we really missed the target with your dinner. What you describe is absolutely not what we strive for. Our rather stark decor doesn't suit everyone's taste, and we know that. But we can address the service, and your review will be part of our next team meeting. Regarding the price, we strive to provide a living wage to everyone who works here, and that commitment shows in our pricing.

Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and delicious, Italian dishes on the Mt. Baker Ridge. We dined here for the first time and are already looking forward to our next visit. The Risotto Cakes were heavenly. 11 out of 10.

Service was really good. Food was good but not unbelievable. I would go back but can’t give it five stars. The burrata was my favorite thing. The carbonara was good but not great. Pork belly was good but it needs something to accompany it.

Hey, Brian, We really appreciate you taking the time to explain your scores. That burrata is magical somehow, isn't it? But your experience with the rest of the meal means we need to take some time to think about the plating of the pork belly and make sure the carbonara is up to snuff every time.

This is top-tier Italian food! The setting, the customer service, the ambience and the food, you can’t beat it. The rigatoni is a must, a nice Cabernet to go with it. Add a pizza as an appetizer and have great night . Just perfect Italian food.
