The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Awarded 2AA rosettes for the last four years in a row for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017, we work hard to provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and a quality experience across all aspects of the hotel. Chef Mark Horton and his team work hard to produce a quality favourites menu with hearty pub classics and an à la carte specials menu. Both menus use seasonal produce and the highest quality ingredients, with full traceability.

Great Sunday roast! Would have been nice to have had our cauliflower cheese with it though and not arrive after.

A delightful Sunday roast. Great value, and a real treat on the taste buds. The staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. Super service all round. No wonder it was packed!

Another good evening in Cheddar. The starters of mushrooms with an egg were very good and the steak and mushroom pies excellent, pastry to die for and well cooked meat ! Have been waiting to try for ages but always sold out so we pre ordered this time to be sure of getting them. Almost too full for a dessert so shared the tiramisu again good. Service was fine and drinks nice and cold. Staff are always very friendly. A very pleasant evening.

This is our favorite place to come to for a roast dinner however today the plate was swimming in gravy which was very thin and also there was little taste The beef was lovely though

Great staff, good solid pub grub - but had to mark down as room was too cold - I had to eat wearing my down coat. We asked if they could turn radiator on and were told, sorry, no it's on a timer. I would suggest asking for a table near a log burner if you visit in the winter, or make sure you bring your coat in!

Such a lovely place - roast 10/10 - ate here a handful of times for a roast and never disappoints. Staff so friendly - we were running late for our table and it wasn’t an issue when I called, they kindly moved the table time for us which we were so thankful for. My 2.5 yr old daughter who is a fussy eater loved her meal and when she finished she said “that was good food!”

This is our favorite place to come to for a roast dinner even the children (14-10) love coming. Staff always welcoming, friendly and goes the extra mile. Food is fantastic I don’t like potatoes so they always do me extra vegetables instead.

Got to say, service was excellent, food was unbelievable, lovely surroundings, we have been to loads of restaurants, and pubs in the local area for Sunday Lunch, and this was hands down the best roast we have had, ok a bit more pricier than normal, but you get what you pay for 100%. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Andy and Carol.

Come here all the time, my fave pub. Food is consistently great. Staff are friendly and efficient. One very small gripe , sometimes too many dogs in the bar and owners who let them get in the way. But you can eat in the restaurant.
