Please note, guest request are not guaranteed. You can request to be seated on the terrace, but it's not guaranteed as these tables are open to the elements. On a sunny day, tables are allocated outside based on the date the booking was made (early birds!) We will do our upmost to accommodate you outside if we can. Please call us on the day to see where you will be seated as special requests are not guaranteed. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.

The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from.
The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

                  Although busy , Charlie, our server was very good , cheerful and helpful. Food was also good . Just slightly noisy.

                  Food was amazing! The service was average… our waitress seemed to not want to be there, and it was freezing cold where we were sitting.

                  Everything was perfect, except for the service. The staff were constantly asking when we would like to order instead of giving us time to enjoy our drinks. We would have preferred not to be rushed.

                  Food was great, fantastic value for money and came very quickly. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had 2 young children as part of our party and staff were very accommodating with their needs as well. Definitely would recommend.
