As always we had a wonderful lunch at The Boundary House. Their Mlle High BLT is delicious and is so high you can’t put your mouth around it to take a bite. The Hostess was very accommodating when I explained we needed a table easily accessible for someone using a walker, the waitress was so attentive and our order was delivered perfectly which sometimes is difficult when you have 8 individuals with different requests. We will definitely be back and highly recommend The Boundary House.

We love Oyster Rock restaurant and decided to try Boundary House thinking the food and service would be somewhat comparable. We were seated in a booth which was very comfortable and I thought we were off to a great start. Our waiter approached us and initially seemed very nice and professional. Great first impression. We ordered an appetizer (calamari) along with entrees which included a salad. Here is where the experience started to nose dive. While we thought we were waiting for our appetizer, all of a sudden a staff member arrived with our salads. It was so quick - they put the salads down and off they went - and then we realized they forgot his oil and vinegar. We could not get anyone's attention and after a few minutes he decided to eat his salad dry (ugh). Wait - it gets more interesting. All of a sudden - our calamari was dropped at our table (we are still eating our salads). I was not going to allow the "drop and run" this time - so I asked for the oil/vinegar. About 8 minutes later - our waiter showed up with the oil/vinegar. We decided at this point to go with the flow. Our salad plates were now pushed aside after we finished and no one stopped by to clear them for quite a while. They had plenty of staff working - and I could see that our waiter was talking to an older couple at the bar with his back to us - I think he lost track of time during his conversation with them. As a former restaurant and hotel manager, I tend to pay attention to how well the staff is trained - which is something that happens automatically at restaurants and hotels. Now someone brought our entrees to us, but did not remove the salad plates or empty calamari dish. Again, we didn't want to complain and be "those people" so we just observed. Finally a woman stopped by who seemed as if she may be in management and cleared our dirty dishes. I only finished half of my entree because it was my husband's birthday and we wanted to split a dessert.

A great menu and ambience. Food was delicious and the croissant was an added bonus. Wonderful waitress, very attentive, and all food cane out hit and as ordered.

Not their best. Something was wrong. Only medium well and well done prime rib portions. Had to choose something else that did not work for me.

everyone got their favs. grouper was great. steak was exceptional. calamari and crab dip were great. would come back again. shopping at Nick Knacks within walking distance was a big hit for everyone.
