                              Great cooking and an excellent wine list. We’re doing the small plates that come when they’re ready thing, which is annoying. But service is good and friendly.

                              Good service, great food and choices very good, would highly recommend a visit, not cheap but super quality the bread and marmite butter was a great start to the experience x

                              Lovely place, quiet and pleasant. Food was good, but not as expected. Service was way too overbearing, didn’t manage to enjoy the meal with staff coming over eery 10 min with one question or another.

                              A really disappointing dining experience. We booked in for Sunday lunch and were looking forward to a relaxed afternoon with good food and drinks but we were in and out in 30 mins and charged the best part of £100 for a very poor experience. Food was ok, but the service from waiting staff was really poor. The first part of the main was brought out about 30 seconds after we'd ordered/ sat down and before the bread we'd asked to start with. The rest of the main then came in dribs and drabs over the next 25 mins. When we chased the sides they told us food was sent from the kitchen whenever it was ready (Sunday lunch tapas style is a new one for me!). We asked for clarification/ help several times and every time we were met with indifference and annoyance. Really didn't feel welcome here. I think the staff knew we'd had a crap experience so never asked if everything was ok and after paying the bill we left and went to another pub for desert it was that bad. Shame as the food was ok when we got it, it's a nice pub and the staff member that seated us was very pleasant/ good. They need to fix the service standards as judging from other reviews we weren't the first to get this experience .

                              Nice place and the service was relaxed and welcoming as was the ambience. The food wasn’t as good as his last place but was fine and well priced.

                              The concept of this restaurant is confusing, dish descriptions & sizes didn’t match expectations. Famous fried chicken was finished by 7.30….

                              For the quality of the dishes and their originality we thought it was very well done and highly scored compared to other London offerings. Oysters, mushrooms, venison and pork brawn were all outstanding, and so was the ginger bread. Good wine selection. We’ll be back for spring menu! Service was attentive.

                              The food was very tasty. Portions were extremely small. The waitress described them as canapés and smaller plates. Which actually were more than accurate as they were tiny compared to the price. For 3 people we got 4 “canapés” dishes (ramekins) plus 4 “mains” small plates and left hungry. The waitress was very warm at the start then less so towards 8pm and presented the receipt as soon as the plates were cleared without asking and presented us with the card machine. No questions asked! The food was tasty but small and the service dwindled come 7:30pm. Would’ve expected more for the hype and price
