   Excellent service and every one of us really enjoyed our meals. My friend is coeliac and was delighted to get his own gluten-free freshly baked bread. We will definitely be back soon. It’s the perfect venue for quality food on a special occasion with a relaxed atmosphere.

   Excellent meal for 4 has last Saturday. Greeted nicely on arrival and well attended throughout. Food was excellent, Butty Bach beer was well kept and the pub is what you would expect from a country pub down to the cobbles and country lane. Looking forward to coming again.

   Visited the Butchers Arms for my wife’s birthday and we were not disappointed. Atmosphere, food and service were all great - will definitely be going back.

   We had a fabulous meal and would recommend The Butchers Arms. The landlady was very attentive, very pleasant, very chatty and took time to talk to us.

   Fantastic dining experience as per usual. The ambience is great, the service impeccable and probably most important of all, the menu is creative and varied and the food beautifully cooked and presented. Definitely highly recommended.

   Another excellent meal. Delicious starter of warm smoked eel salad with beetroot and horseradish, and an equally good main course of roast cod with broccoli and creamed potatoes. Good NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Prompt and friendly service.
