Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     This is our second visit to Capital Grille in Fairfax. We had our same waiter, Carlos, who is terrific! Excellent service, food is perfectly prepared and large portions. We were celebrating a birthday. We all shared salads, steaks, sea bass, multiple sides and desserts!

    Michael in the bar lounge always takes the best care of us and makes the best martinis. The burger and steak sandwich at lunch were cooked to perfection. Both had outstanding flavor.

    The lobster tails were overcooked and super small. Our steaks were not well salted/seasoned. Overall was below the quality we expect.

    We had a truly great experience at The Capital Grill! From the valet parking to the elegant entry with two awesome lions at the entrance, to the amazing restaurant ambiance and exquisite food…it was top tier! Additionally, we received excellent drink recommendations at the bar for both my wife and I, and a great menu review and recommendation from our waitress.

    Excellent food and service. Very pricey. We can make great steaks at home too but always nice to be served. The kitchen and staff are amazing.

    Way too overpriced for what you receive. Service was slow. Scallops had absolutely no taste, although the risotto was tasty. Feels more like an Outback Steakhouse type restaurant with Ruth Chris pricing.
