   Mathew our server was excellent. We were promptly seated at a quiet banquette as requested in our reservation . The roasted beet and goat cheese salad was superb as always. We both had different sizes and preps of their fabulous dry aged sirloin strip steaks perfectly cooked medium rare . It was an evening to be repeated soon.

   This was the worst dining experience that my family has ever had at The Capital Grille. The server was visibly stressed from the start - she mentioned two others including a waiter in training would help the table. It took 15 minutes to order drinks including water. She did not bring bread even after we asked twice. It took another 10 minutes to get our bottle of wine. Appetizers were fine but not properly spaced out from the main course. But by far the worst was the steak - all 5 members of my party ordered different cuts of steak medium rare. Every single steak was badly charred and the meat was very bitter and the bones were so brittle and breaking apart from being completely charred black. I sent my steak back and the second bone-in ribeye was a terrible cut of meat. 70+% fat and much thicker than what I am used to from The Capital Grille. Maybe it’s just the Fort Myers location but it was terrible and ruined a rare family gathering for my wife and I. The waiter said the manager wanted to comp us dessert but we were all turned off to the experience and declined. No one came by to apologize or acknowledge the poor experience. We should not have had to pay for that horribly prepared meal and lackluster service. I do a lot of business in Fort Myers but I am so disappointed that The Capital Grille will not be on my list for business meals going forward.

   Attended the wine and wagyu event and was wonderfully surprised - everything was excellent and the service was perfect . The wine pairing was spot on and deliciously complementary of the food - 10/10 looking forward to the next event

   Fair experience at the capital Grille. The only thing that was not up to standard was the filet mignon. It was slightly overcooked and truly no seasoning was used on the piece of meat. Service was excellent. The appetizers were fantastic as were the sides

    An outstanding dining experience - food was amazing and our table was in a quiet side room. Our waiter and waitress staff were fantastic!
