Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Wait staff was very helpful in answering questions about food preparation, ingredients, and selections. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered.

You know your food will be delicious when going to Capital Grille; every bite of their food is fresh and flavorful. Our waiter, Kyle, and the lovely young lady who assisted in our table service, were outstanding and delightful! However, Newtown Capital Grille has a lot to improve upon when handling a busy Saturday night reservation. We made our reservation a month in advance and arrived 10 minutes early. We were told about a 10-15 minute wait. Acceptable, no worries. However, the 15 minutes became 30 and no one from the hostess staff came to acknowledge us and give us an update on our wait time. We had to go to them several times for updates. This is not how our experience has been at other Capital Grilles. At other Capital Grilles they will offer to take your coat, offer a cocktail, and make sure to keep you updated on wait time, not us having to keep going to ask. We were seated an hour later with no apology or acknowledgment for wait time. Capital Grill separates itself from other local restaurants as a fine-dining experience. In addition to their outstanding food and wait staff, it’s the little things in the front of the house that really make it a wonderful experience worth the $$$. Management should make sure they have the tools and support for the staff to work on these things. Understaffing maybe an issue, and if so, adjust those accepted reservations, much like a wonderfully successful Sushi restaurant in Newtown does when necessary.

The service was exceptionally great last night. Our waiter Massimo is the best and we also appreciated the special attention we received from the manager and somalier. Our steaks were very good- just a bit dry but the sauces helped. We will return soon!

This is our third time at Capital Grille and we really love the food and the service. Our waiter Josh was amazing and very accommodating. He adds special little details that mean a lot and enhance our experience. Can’t wait to go back.
