Opened under new ownership in December 2023, we are located adjacent to our existing Roundwood Stores bakery and artisan food store. Come and enjoy good food, wine, craft beer, and log fires in the beautifully restored 1820’s Coach House.
The kitchen is open for dinner Thursday to Sunday, from 530pm to 8.30pm, for lunch Friday on Saturday from 12pm -4pm and a long lunch on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. Walk-ins and reservations all very welcome

Dinner in the Coach House is a delight, we're both vegetarian, and while there isn't much choice, every element of each course combined to deliver a great taste experience. The dishes look as good as they taste, the service is friendly and attentive, and the ambience is lovely!

We gathered for lunch for a family group of six, having reserved our table some two weeks before. We were greeted by Liam and shown to our table which was beautifully prepared. The menu choice was excellent and we chose a variety of starters and main courses, all of which were delicious. The wine list is extensive and we chose Picpoul de Pinet for the three eating fish, and a glass of Malbec to accompany the Toulouse sausages. The Guinness 0.0 on draught was splendid. A number of staff looked after us under the guidance of Helen. Overall, I can very strongly recommend the Coach House, after several visits.

We ate at the Coach House on our first night of a week long tour of Ireland. It was by far one of the top meals that we had in Ireland. Beautiful atmosphere with the food and wait staff absolutely wonderful. ☘️

Lovely space, I thought prices were a bit high for quality presented, Service was Ok but not great, so didn't appreciate the 12.5% non discretionary service charge added to bill. This is first time ive seen service charge added for just 2 people.

We had an outstanding experience at the Coach House, which did met all our expectations ! Meals were delicious from starters to deserts, the wine exceptional, service warm and friendly though very professional and ambiance relax and cosy. Thank you !!

Fantastic hospitality experience- a well crafted and considered operation. Comes across as having real heart and genuine love by its owners and senior staff. Food was faultless and the boutique rooms for short stays were super cute and comfortable.

Wonderful experience for a post hike lunch. Great selection for the whole group including some vegetarians, meat eaters and a coeliac. Staff were lovely.

Our four-generation family is so pleased to have found this elegant, cosy, country restaurant! Standards are high but the experience it is completely comfortable and unpretentious. The menu is fresh, natural and delicious and accommodated my dietary needs as a coeliac with flexibility and ease. The service is outstanding and perfectly pitched.Someone really knows how to recruit and enable the best of staff. Again the awareness of the waiting staff of my dietary needs as a coeliac was exceptional and deeply reassuring, while my elderly mother’s preferences were accommodated with remark, voluntary kindness and common sense. Expect lively wines and do indulge in the wine/dessert pairings. They really elevate the experience.
