Was not a fan of the mushroom appetizer 😕 it was basically mayonnaise and mushrooms. When I mentioned it to the server he offered me another app which I enjoyed (cheese plate) the service and the rest of my meal were great and I would recommend this place for a nice quiet date night

We enjoyed a 3 course meal during Charlottesville Restaurant Week and it was our first time there. We were immediately impressed with the lovely ambience. The server was tops and the food delicious.

Went during restaurant week, the experience was poor. Not especially busy for a Saturday night. The food was mediocre, our server rarely checked in, and it took them a while to provide refills on water. The restaurant was also out of several items, but no mention of this was made by our server ahead of time, even after taking our order.

Salmon was undercooked. Steal (ordered medium) was burnt. Everything was very under seasoned. Staff was great until they disappeared for over 30 mins. Good drinks, nice ambience.

I made a reservation thinking that this was a real Restaurant at the Omni hotel in Charlottesville. The menu was very limited as well as the seating. We had a very nice waitress, but she couldn’t make up for the super short menu and really very few interior tables. Cannot recommend

Hi Patricia! I am sorry to hear that our menu and atmosphere was not up to your expectations. We try our best to provide and accommodate whenever we can in regard to seating as we know our tables can be on the small side for bigger groups! We do hope you will give us another try in the future, we plan to have a revamp of the menu with in the next few months, as our 1-year anniversary is coming up! Great food and service. We were there for Restaurant Week and I ordered the Steak Frites which was delicious. I also got two appetizers:the mushrooms and tuna tartare instead of a dessert. It was nice they let me do that as I am not much of a sweets person.

They had a limited menu. The food was excellent. The salmon was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent.

Didn’t stay for meal. Had a LOUD DJ Latin Bachata dance party during dinner hour in the main restaurant bar area … ridiculous. Couldn’t hear yourself talk. Sat in 2 different spots but no escape. Finally tried outside but it wasn’t set up so we left. First night in Charlottesville after an 8 hour drive so not happy to have to trek around looking for somewhere to eat. Better ask OMNI hotel, where this is located, if they’re having theme music and dancing before booking this!

We do open up our breakfast dining area on Sundays to accommodate any dinner guests that are not interested in our weekly Bachata Social, it tends to be much quieter in there!
