   Took my girlfriend out for a birthday meal for lobster which they didn't have. Ordered olives that we didn't get. There were no prawns on a seafood restaurant menu. Terrible service

   The food was overpriced and underwhelming.Booked a specific table for a specific time only to find they had seated another couple in it. Finally got seated after a 20 minute wait in the bar area with no offer of a drink while we waited which would have made the situation better. The service was terrible, no consistency with the people serving us and had to ask for plates and condiments on several occasions.Nice ambiance but ruined by the experience, very disappointing as we read the reviews and it sounded just what we were looking for, but turned out well below our expectations.

   Another excellent meal with a friend at my favourite seafood restaurant. A warm welcome, friendly yet professional service, delicious food and a comfortable environment. Kudos to the team at The Crab who keep standards high. It is always a pleasure to visit.

   Starters: modules marinier and tempura prawns were delicious Main : pan fried salmon - best, tastiest salmon ever Main: sea bass - filleted by request was absolutely delicious Puds: both had the deconstructed lemon cheesecake. Was very tasty but could’ve done with more crumbs than nuts.

   The Food was fantastic, but not cheap at all. One has to decide if you want to spend that on food. Service was good, but not very fast.

   This is one of our favourite restaurants. Never had a poor experience there. Love coming to eat.

    The food is very good. The service in the main good. This was Mothers Day but we were there having stayed 2 nights at the hotel for leisure so not a celebration for that. Prices felt a bit high especially considering other meals we had in Bournemouth over the weekend of a similar ilk. One issue was one of us had the Prawn Paperdelle with Asparagus. On eating this the remarks were that the Asparagus was not evident. Having seen a similar plate towards the end of our meal it was realised the Asparagus had been missed off. The reaction was not of an apology but more of “hard luck” you should have told us earlier! Not really the response we wanted. A waiter before we left did apologise but was too late - damage done already.
