Drawing inspiration from both the area’s Scottish heritage and the rugged, natural landscape, The Creag [kreyg] offers elevated comfort food with sweeping views of McLemore Cove and Pigeon Mountain. Along with favorites like the Hush Puppies, 8oz Filet, and Flat Iron Pork, The Creag serves craft cocktails and a curated collection of fine whiskeys and wines from around the world.

    Absolutely amazing. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. Highly recommend getting the filet or ribeye. Will be back!

    Wow the Creag is the gem of the mclemore resort. Can we just have two more of these at the main building? That is my only complaint. The other restaurant on property does NOT have a charcuterie - traditional - offered. The Creag offers delicious cheese meats crackers and ground mustard. (The Croft has a strange biscuit and ham charcuterie which we did not care for nor did other guests we visited with) We had the ribeye entree and it was amazing - accompanied with whipped potatoes. The trout dish tasted like a delicious salmon and paired perfectly with the gnocchi. Cheesecake for dessert was delicious as well. The views here, the fire, service, ambience all a 10/10. A must go! And again, can we please copy and paste for rest of resort? Even the workers we asked all agreed the Creag is the best and most popular with guests. We know why now.

    Madison provided a wonderful experience. The food was great as it always has been. The only minor complaint would be the noise. We can’t wait for our next visit.

    Amazing food, cocktails and service. Likely one of the best filets I have ever had! Love this restaurant!

    The restaurant was a wonderful surprise with its modern and beautiful atmosphere. The location, setting, and view were the best of our trip. The cocktail, wine, bourbon, and scotch lists were all impressive. Finally, the food! My wife ordered a fillet and I got the ribeye. These, we agreed, were the best steaks we have eaten in years. The restaurant and food provided us an outstanding experience!!!

    The filet mignon‘s were cooked perfectly, the vibe was great and warm with the fires going and the view off the mtn was amazing.

    The service was good, our waitress was great!!! However, just not what we have experienced before. We had to refill our own wine glasses, ask for water, push our dirty dishes to the side of the table. Previous visits we had a more top notch service. Our water and wine glasses were never empty, we had managers come to our table a suggest wine pairings. Dishes were picked up immediately when they were done. Maybe we should move to the curio restaurants for this now??? But we just love The Creag atmosphere, just seemed more like a pub than fine dining.
