    It has been over a year since we have been back. The service was ok. Server did not ask all the questions needed to before preparing the Caesar salad. For some reason, the kitchen cannot do well done. Almost like an insult to the chef. A little under two years ago was there for someone's celebration and the food and the service was excellent. Our server had a great sense of humor and was most attentive. But the last two times, it has been a struggle. Food is excellent, but if more attention was paid to the customer and their likes and dislikes it would be much better. From a cost perspective very reasonable in this day and age for an upscale restaurant. As gluten free, should consider having GF bread as most other restaurants of this type do.

    I requested my cola to be without ice BUT My refill came with ice I did not want to return it as if memory reminds me. People who request to change the items have a few items added And This is not my way of causing problems Thank you

    Amazing fine dining experience, the place was very busy and the staff was amazing They did an excellent job accommodating the orders, we had a big table, all cooked to perfection. Very professional and friendly staff, the side table Caesar salad is something unique to try, not many restaurants out here prepare the salad like this anymore, the stakes cooked perfectly as requested, every thing was perfect. Rita the manager was excellent and very professional, the table was a few minutes late and she kept apologizing, no reasons at all, she made every thing great for our party.

    Been there several times and service had been great all around and food excellent. Last evening however we experienced a lack of service. Seemed understaffed or something to that sort. Had to call the wait staff to order, for water etc each time we needed anything. Typically I am used to an establishment of this caliber upselling there services and offers. No offer for specials, after dinner drinks, coffee etc. Staff simply struggling to offer attention last evening to it's patrons. Will I go back? Absolutely, still one of Toronto's best.

    I found the food starting with appetizers and main course very salty. The stuff were friendly but they looked bored and not to attentive.

    Great first time experience and will be back. Steak was cooked perfectly. Sides were on par. Apps were very good. I think this will become a new favourite for me and my family. By guests also had a great experience.

    We had come for a date night. The ambiance was beautiful, with gorgeous, ornate fixtures, a grand staircase and set the tone for what should have been a great steak night. It was the opposite of that. It started when the server came to ask about our drinks. I said I'm a recovered alcoholic, so no thanks to the wine list. At that, we were offered tap water or bottled sparking water, and nothing else. Next came the ordering. I have a severe dairy allergy, but carry medicine in case and am vocal about it. I ordered the prime rib and when told of the sides, Yorkshire pudding and pierogies, asked if I could substitute for French fries (an item on the menu). The server said he'd ask, but the chef doesn't like to change the how the plate looked. I asked if I could just have the fries, and I'd happily pay for them. The server said he'd ask and see. He came back to say the chef didn't want to honour the request and would add more broccolini on the side. I wanted to leave but my wife and I were hungry, so we stayed. The food arrived, and as told, there was a lot of broccolini on the plate as well as a lot of fat on the prime rib. Every time we go for steak I get prime rib. It was the fattiest I have ever had. Part way through a different server asked how we were enjoying the food. We politely asked to speak with the manager. The server asked what was wrong and we explained that due to the dairy allergy, the option provided was not satisfactory. The server left saying he'd ask the manager to come to the table. After some minutes the manager came. She blamed the server for his miscommunication as to the side of fries not being orderable. That wasn't the case but she was protective of the chef. She explained the chef didn't like changing things and offered to buy us dessert. I said no due to the dairy allergy. She offered berries...no thanks, I had enough broccolini. She expressed her apologies and left. It was such a sad experience we won't be back ever.
