    The most wonderful experience dining at The Davidson this evening for a little Christmas treat. We took our two daughters 4&6 before going to a show and had the best service and meal. We can't wait to go back... without our kids. lol We will be back very soon and will be telling all our family and friends about The Davidson!

    Brought my two adult children there for their bday. Nice ambience with excellent food. Tables just a touch too close to others which lead to hushed voices to prevent eaves dropping. Food was excellent and presented beautifully. We enjoyed our meals and feel of the restaurant. Service attention was slightly on the below average side though she was very nice. I would come again.

    Everything began great. Bartenders were friendly and great service. Six of us were seated celebrating a birthday. Service started out great but fell off a bit because I don’t tho they had enough servers. Eggplant served table side and bread excellent. We shared a chopped salad and it was delicious. The hamachi was also good. Veal fell flat. Chewy and very tough and dry. Good espresso martinis. Birthday was celebrated by complimentary champagne. Nice atmosphere. Nice outside area warm and quieter to have conversation.

    Exceptional service from Alicia, & also the best manager, CJ. Alicia gave us absolutely delicious recommendations. The eggplant was unreal. 💕The scallops, also amazing.

    We felt welcomed at the door, was sat by the bar in a comfortable booth where we began the night with our Sherpa, Alicia, who with expertise helped us navigate the drink and food menu. We had great drinks to start. She had the Marg, I went with the Delicito. We ordered the Hamachi (5 stars) but the real showpiece was whatever they did with the Eggplant. Don’t like Eggplant? Set that aside and trust the process. From there it was the Vodka Rigatoni and then the Veal Milanese. Both fantastic. Finished with Espresso Martinis (since they don’t do dessert) and left with a fully belly and filled soul. Weirdly felt like we left as much as an impression on them as they did on us, maybe we made friends who we can rely on to feed us when we need it. I don’t write reviews normally, but this was an experience where I shook the host’s hand and said, “continued success and we’’ll see you again”. Who am I? :)

    we found our server to be very knowledgeable and forthcoming with food recommendations, which we really appreciated. We had a scallop based appetizer, Italian chopped salad and then two different flavors of their house made pasta dishes… Really the food & service made this place. special. The food was A+. Everything was freshly made and delicious.

    We were celebrating a birthday. Our server was lovely, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful Prosecco toast. The scallops were some of the best I've ever had!

    This was our 2nd visit and it's still medicore at best. Service wasn't anything great. It was fair. As for the food, the pork chop was so dry, I had to drench it in sauce. (I found it weird I wasn't asked how I'd like the tempature) I stated to the server how dry it was, they seemed unsure what to do. Kale was extremely over cooked a flavorless. Unfortunately the star of the meal was fries. No table touch from management. Lastly, the wine list is absurd. They are offering glasses (other than house wine) over $15 a glass, there should be some sort of variety. This is a type of restaurant that, glad you checked it out, won't be back. Honestly, head to 5 on Vine. Its the same concept, better food, wine, and service. Head there.

We cook our pork chops using the sous vide method for consistent tenderness, though we don't cook to a specific temperature. I understand how that may have affected your experience. We’ll certainly take more care in the future. We appreciate your feedback on the wine list. We offer wines that we believe provide a unique and high-quality experience, but we are open to reconsidering offering a more diverse selection that caters to different preferences and price points. Regarding the lack of a table touch from management. I regret we missed this on your visit. We’ll work on improving this. I hope we have the chance to welcome you back soon.
