    We had dinner at The Davidson on the day they opened, and since we eat here often - and enjoy it each time. Their cocktails are beautiful and delicious. One of the things I like best is that it's possible to have a yummy full dinner meal, a sandwich, or appetizer. The salads are generous and fresh. The sandwiches are high quality. It's a fun place to eat, lots of people watching both inside the restaurant, and those walking to and from Fountain Square. The only negative is that the music is usually too loud but if you ask they will often graciously turn down the volume.

    So delicious, fun and festive! All the servers and hostess looked adorable in their NYE wear

    We thought it was okay, with a limited menu. We had the eggplant appetizer along with the a couple of different entrees, scallops and steak. Good food but missed the mark on being great.

    The Davidson is the best. Highly recommended. Open Table not so good. Have been trying to make changes to my OpenTable profile both via computer and app and it does not work. NO matter how you try there is no way to communicate to a human, no phone number or email is available. Its either a dining bot with limited choices or nothing. Such a sad uncaring way to run a business.

    The food was good, however our server did not pace out courses and the whole meal felt very rushed.

    We reserved counter but were sat outside. I ended up liking where we sat. I would sit there again. Service was great. Food was amazing. We just wish they had a dessert menu.

    The bartender was absolutely spectacular. He was knowledgeable about the four draught beers and expressed thoughtful opinions about the menu that were helpful when we ordered appetizers. The waitress was a frantic Cincinnati Bengals fan and kept us informed of all the game developments as well as giving us strong information on the menu, all of which was delicious. The eggplant, the mushroom soup which pays homage to the restaurant that used to be there, and the fondue collectively were worth a visit. The homemade pasta was flawless, and the chicken was the best my date had ever had . I highly recommend the Davidson.

    We’ve been there before and had ok dinners, but this time everything was just off ,the Brie was different he salad was soggy and the fillet look like a smashed hamburger. we won’t be back
