                                                                                                  Love The District! Love the ambiance. Steaks are always tender and delicious. My only complaint would be the Caesar salad. The last two times we have gotten it, the dressing was very fishy tasting. Too much anchovy paste was used. Other than that, everything is delicious!

                                                                                                  Excellent food, service was impeccable, ambiance was beautiful. Both the steaks and flounder were tender and flavorful. I highly recommend The District, especially if you want to celebrate something special.

                                                                                                  The Valentine theme was appreciated !!! Great cocktails! We enjoyed crab cake, lobster bisque and lamb lollipops from appetizer menu and the steak with frites and wedge salad from dinner menu. The entertainment was just subtle enough!

                                                                                                  Fantastic as always. Never sat up in the lounge before. It was a more laid back experience and the live music was a new touch. A bit different but not bad. Not a normal opportunity but something special the did for Valentine's. Our normal waiter has the night off, Allana was superb. Truly a memorable evening.

                                                                                                  Adrian is a great server! We always have great service here. The food is usually wonderful. However this time the steak was a bit dry. Cooked perfectly, though. My friends special was just weird to me. I didn’t particularly like the butternut squash/collards/redfish combination. It just didn’t appeal to me, but everything else was really good.

                                                                                                  The hostess informed us that they were overbooked and she could not tell us how long. She also indicated that we could wait for an opening at the bar in the basement. I expect when I make a reservation for it to be honored fully, why then Use the app. Furthermore we then had to fund another place to eat with most places not serving a full meni. Pensacola is maybe not a full city but one with a legacy and the District although it appeared to be nice, lacked the professionalism in line with a restaurant with a certain brand and value proposition. This was a fail…..

                                                                                                  Raw oysters were good. Scallop appetizer, meh. Reddish and salmon were good. Delmonico steaks had too much connective tissue still in it. Although cooked very well, it lacked flavor... Best part of the meal was the brownie ala mode with chocolate.
