The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

First,time visiting the Drummond & what a great experience. The food,staff and atmosphere were excellent. Will definitely be visiting again, I couldn't find any faults that let the pub down. Staff are polite & a credit to the pub. Would recommend the Drummond Snipe to family and friends with no concerns.

Went for Sunday lunch today with the misses and both had a lovely meal. Definitely recommend.

Welcoming and the service was good. Food was tasty but it was a bit chilly on this cold evening but will return.

We periodically enjoy a Sunday roast at The Drumming Snipe. Last night all three of us had the roast sirloin of native breed beef with bottomless sides. The beef was of the highest quality and cooked perfectly. There were copious amounts of vegetables (carrots and cabbage) and roast potatoes as well as pigs in blankets a large yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy. The only slight niggle was that perhaps there could be more cheese with the cauliflower cheese. Priced at £21 it's an absolute bargain (please don't put the price up!) cooked pink and probably the best roast you will find in the area. For dessert, I had the excellent Apple & Blackberry crumble with custard (£8) with a side of vanilla ice cream. What more could you ask for?

Booked Sunday lunch for four. Food was very good, the bottomless sides that accompanied the main element of the meal are a great idea. The cauliflower cheese was particularly tasty. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The price was also excellent.

The Drumming Snipe is a lovely cosy venue - we ate early so it was lively with families eating early dinner. We all had the Sunday roasts - obvs. Beef was very good as was the pork. Portions were generous and the vegetables were really nice. Food wasn't overly hot when served which was a bit of a shame. Service was very relaxed and friendly but we did have to chase up orders, bills etc. Overall would recommend as food was good value and tasty and venue nice.
