    Excellent food and service. The short ribs were fantastic and the bolognese was delicious. Highly recommend the pigs in a blanket as an appetizer. Server was attentive and friendly. Already made reservations for another dinner.

    Double date night. Service was excellent. Nice drink selection. Their Old Fashion had a lighter, fresher taste than the heavy ones you get in the supper club. Pricing was on par with the area. Portions appear small, but the flavor is so good and rich, you don't need more. Ordered 2 apps; pigs in a blanket and rolls with honeybutter. Pigs had nice tangy flavor and rolls were puffy and soft. Mains were Gnocchi (toasty on the outside soft in the middle), Risotto (everyone loves risotto), Cacio E Pepe (cheesy flavor, thought it would be more peppery), and Beef Short Rib (melt in your mouth). If you like Creme Brulee, this was very good, more broiled than flamed.

    We had a wonderful birthday celebration for our son. Started off with champagne, then the five of us had wonderful meals with a nice Bordeaux blend. Shrimp and Gnocchi, Cacio de Pepe, a strip steak, and short ribs with mushrooms and creamed potatoes. Topped it off with Crème Brûlée, some port, and the birthday boy opted for bourbon. The entire meal was a pleasure from start to finish. Staff added to the celebration with a birthday card signed by all of them. Memorable meal in many ways. Service by Colleen? Was excellent.

    We had reservations for 2 and we were really looking forward to trying the Edison. I am sure the food is fabulous! However, when we were seated and realized we were going to be at a small 2 person table very close to another table, we decided it was not the ambiance we were looking for on a date night. The tables for 2 have this small plant between them and there isn’t any privacy. We quickly decided we weren’t into the vibe. We told the hostess that we were leaving due to our seat. They just said thank you and didn’t offer to seat us anywhere else. I don’t think there was another table for us to move too. I really hope the restaurant takes this feedback and changes it for seating for 2. We were definitely looking forward to our date night here and had to go find somewhere else to eat that was less stuffy and crowded for a date.

    Hello Laura, Please accept my sincere apology that the seating in our dining room did not meet expectations for a date night for you and your partner. We do get busy on weekends and our dining room does tend to be full by the 7pm hour however our front desk should have attempted to rectify the matter to see if we might have been able to find another spot for the two of you to enjoy your evening. We will certainly take this into consideration when looking at the layout of our dining room. I do hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with an experience up to expectations and would love to personally assist you in making any future reservation.     Overall, it was an enjoyable experience but did not leave me feeling like I needed to go back anytime soon. The food was good but not outstanding. We were seated by the front door and never really got a feel for the vibe of the place. Service was great.

    The Edison is one of our favorite restaurants in the Third Ward. They are extremely accommodating. Our reservation was for 5:15 but we were stuck in unexpected traffic. I called the restaurant and they said they'd hold our reservation. The wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. Try Nona's meatballs. Out of this world! We love the ambiance as well. Treat yourself to a lovely night out at the Edison!

    First time here. Not sure if we will return. Let me explain. Have read some good reviews about The Edison, so we made a 6:00 for a Saturday. The design of the dining room is stylish, fun, and comfortable. A mix of smaller tables or larger booths. It was starting to get busy when we arrived. There were two of us, and the hosted placed us at a small table near the front door. Given that there was significant traffic there, we asked for a similar table more towards the back. The hostess was reluctant telling us that it was going to be busy/loud throughout the entire dining area, but she made the change. Glad that we did because the new area was less hectic and noisy. The two top is really a four top, with some foliage between the two sets. It was a bit odd, but less distracting than I thought. Our server got to us right away. They were friendly, helpful and relaxed. Got us waters, and our first drinks. Helped us navigate the menu and offered suggestions. The drinks were unique and flavorful. The Old Fashioned was especially good. Our appetizer was the Tempera Shallot. It came out quickly, was hot and crispy. We enjoyed most of it. Some pieces were larger, and the batter was not cooked as thoroughly as the rest. The black garlic Aioli was very good. Our entrees included the Pork Chop and the Grilled Whole Branzino. They came out in a reasonable amount of time, were hot, well seasoned, flavorful sides, and nice portions. The Branzino was probably the best that I have had. The skill was nice and crispy and the flesh tender. Nice job! Both of us enjoyed them, and there were leftovers that we took home. We had been there for about an hour, and that's when the service took a turn for the worse. Our server took a long time to come back after we had finished the meal. We noticed that they were busy with some other/larger tables. We asked to have dessert, and it took a while to even get the dessert menu. Time ran out, we canceled dessert.

    Very classy place. The food was great and the atmosphere and ambiance was very nice. The coal fired wings are incredible. The duck ragu was amazing. Great spot for a date night or a good time with a group of friends!

    Our food was exceptional. Our service was dismal. Our waitress poured our water, then disappeared for about a half hour.
