Our Team is excited to welcome you to The Shed Restaurant.

Reservations are essential via the above booking portal. Credit card details are required at the time of booking for large groups however no funds are taken prior to your reservation. A $40 no-show fee is charged only without sufficient notice period of 12hrs.

Whilst we love them, we cannot accomodate bookings for pets.

Bookings of 2 - 7 can enjoy our a la carte menu offering.
Bookings of 8+ adult guests are required to dine on our Feasting Menu $84pp. Our Chefs cater to all preferences and dietary requirements wherever possible, please alert your waitstaff on arrival.
Note for all tables confirmed on an a la carte basis will unusually receive longer than normal service times.
Please include Children in your total number of guests when making a booking and leave a note for the restaurant when completing your reservation. Childrens menu is available.

A 10% surcharge applies on weekends / 20% on public holidays.

    We were so excited when we walked in as it’s beautiful place. Our entrees were good so we gathered that the mains would be exceptional even though they were very pricey. We ordered spinach are prawn pasta and squid ink pasta with swimmer crab. The pasta was definitely cooked tossed into a plate with tin crab meat tossed through it, no seasoning, tasteless and bland at $48. The pasta and prawn dish just as bad, just scraps of prawns tossed into overcooked tasteless pasta.

    We booked and requested that we were bringing our dog as the venue advertises they are dog friendly, we booked 1 week in advance, upon arrival was told that we can only sit on the outer tables to which we are sorry there is none available. I advised of the above in our booking and confirmed that yes it was on our request but didn’t have a table for us. We drove 45 minutes to that venue - never again. Didn’t seem to care don’t know why we would even bother booking when requests are ignored. Very disappointed and went elsewhere to a resturant that was actually pet friendly who accommodated us. Don’t advertise if you can’t accomodate.

    Haven’t been for a few years and thought I’d return while in the area. Upon walking in we all noticed a fish smell which wasn’t that pleasant. The food was okay, but the service and lack of ambience was noted. Trying to get a server after mains had been delivered was hard and didn’t realise no desert options. Ticked the box and won’t be back

    Our waitress was fabulous but as our wait for our 2nd course was over 50 minutes… we asked the waitress to cancel it and we left. As we were leaving, I overheard another waitress telling the floor manager that some other customers wanted to cancel their order as it was taking too long. They need to pull up their socks.

    Food was great! Pizzas and pasta were very good. We had a couple of fussy eaters with us and there was something for everyone. But the service was very slow. We were sitting for at least 20 mins before someone asked us about water, let alone drinks. We ordered two entrees and only one came out, and then the first main came along. All mains were brought to our table at the same time, except the pizzas which were a good 5 minutes or more behind the rest of the mains. We have been to Epicurean many times over the years and were pretty disappointed. They appeared to have plenty of wait staff on, but am wondering if they were understaffed in the kitchen. I do love that you can book there now, which you couldn’t do pre covid.

    Disappointing in the end. Overall feeling was the place was a bit hectic, and there was no flow. Mains came before the starter was even finished or cleared, (Given I was also breastfeeding at that moment my food sat waiting getting cold. ) Hard to get staff’s attention for drink orders - drink ordered with the food arriving came at the end of the meal. The kitchen was ringing the bell quite aggressively by the end of the evening 😅, which just added to the feeling of the dining experience being all over the place. (Then capped off with a 20% public holiday surcharge)

    Great food - just a little under staffed. But overall will definitely be heading back. Just a busy time of year.
