   One of the best restaurants we have been to. From the volcanic shrimp to the prime rib to the peanut butter cake, it was outstanding. We will be back!

   In town for a conference and found The Finch with solid Open Table reviews so booked a reservation. The Finch is a very open space with high ceilings and a well-equipped bar in the center. While I found the general noise level to be high, that also just indicated people were having a great time! What truly made this experience exceptional, however, was the service we received from our server named Sunshine. This gentleman was FANTASTIC! I mention his service now because it was central to the whole experience, but very helpful in the way of food and drink selection. Sunshine had a radiant personality and merged right in to the sarcastic banter my colleague and I always have. So it was like he was “joining the party”. And he was perfect. He was also spot on with everything and genuine in every way. Sunshine recommended several apps. We settled on the crispy, fried shrimp. Delicious. We also had the martini flight and a peach cocktail. All very good. He then suggested a chicken with jalapeño gravy that I found very tasty. My colleague enjoyed the spicy salmon Sunshine recommended and my one bite of that was amazing. We also had a side of the Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend. Finished it off with a peanut butter cake/pie and decaf coffee that allowed me to dream about the meal. I recommend The Finch and would also suggest a request for Sunshine. We could all is a little more Sunshine these days!

   Party of four and we shared 3 appetizers shared caesar salads and 2 meals. Herb chicken was delicious, but would have preferred a little more sauce and not a big fan of polenta. Also, would recommend a little more dressing on salad, but overall very good.

   The Volcano Shrimp appetizer was tasty. The Shrimp and Grits were delicious. The Light fluffy grits and the white wine sauce made it perfect. The Desserts are large and easily sharable.

   The Volcano Rock Shrimp were excellent! The Filet was cooked perfectly and the Chicken Fried Chicken was also very good. The ambiance is great and the service was good. The food came out quickly. The booth table was great for a party of 6 but the noise level made it difficult to hear everyone at our table.

   Really disappointed by the low quality food. Fish tacos were nearly inedible, and the volcano shrimp was like fast food Chinese. The food also comes out as fast as a Burger King, which I guess is good if you’re in a rush. It’s a nice space though.

   Amazing food and amazing service! We had the rock shrimp, oysters, salmon and red fish tacos and everything was top notch! The espresso martini was definitely one the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely revisit this place if we go back th Nashville!

   food was good, especially the buffalo chicken egg rolls. Noah was our server and he was super nice, s/o to him.

    Just do not understand the seating program in certain restaurants. Four, yes four hostesses at the entrance. The restaurant is half full. I get the standard line it will be a minute to get you seated (we had reservations). They take a couple of minutes and then seat us in a section that is 1/4 filled. Do not understand it will be a minute t get you seated. The restaurant is well staffed, something you do not see vet often. After 15 minutes+ of no one coming by to welcome us I had to flag a passing waiter (they were many) to see if he could find our server. We were clearly in the no man zone. A couple of minutes go by and up pops our server who apologies for the mix up. From then on five stars all the way. Great service, very attentive and all the makings of a great experience. This review should be telling of the good food at a reasonable cost instead winning about the slow start with a very strong finish. All in all a good time and will not hesitate to return visit.
