Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

Always an amazing place every time we go to the Cotswolds we end up here for a few nights best pie ever!!

Probably the tastiest pie I have eaten in my life no exaggeration! Lovely atmosphere too. Wonderful and I wish they were closer to my home town.

Third time back at the Fleece Inn and every time it is great. The pies are fantastic. The locale is great and there is always a lovely community feel. We'll be back!

The Fleece is an old, unspoiled inn full of character. The beer is kept very well, with a good range of cask ale on offer. There is an excellent menu, with a good variety of vegetarian options. I had the lamb rump, which was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Delightful lunch, lovely walk in sunny garden. Pies as god as ever. Pub grub at its best. huge portions. Only one slight disappointment, coffee not so good, needs to have more body to be up to the rest of the meal.

The service was good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The steak and ale pie was very good as usual. All in all a great place to eat.

Beautifully preserved pub with great food and great atmosphere. There were several small folk music gatherings going on when we were there which added to the vibe. Would highly recommend, well done National Trust!

Our experience was incredible—wonderful atmosphere, staff and amazing food. The only thing I might suggest is some low ambient music to enhance the experience even more.
