The Folio Bar & Kitchen rewrites the food and drink script for the storied city of Cambridge. Follow as our creative chefs compose home-cooked classics full of clever twists and inspiring turns, including mouth-watering Dish. Afternoon Tea at the Folio Bar & Kitchen is certainly a special occasion. Served on a tiered stand are all the hallmarks of a quintessential English Afternoon tea - scones, finger sandwiches, sweet treats, all masterfully crafted by our in-house Pastry Chef. Not to mention an exquisite selection of teas. For a special treat, feel free to pair your experience with a glass of bubbly. Advanced Booking is required.

We chose to eat at The Folio Bar & Restaurant to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. We booked many weeks in advance and in the run up to the booking the staff communicated regularly in order to plan the perfect celebration. When we arrived for our booking at 1pm there was just our table for 8 and a large table of about 20. Two waiting staff were available which soon became an issue as the restaurant filled up. We waited almost an hour for the bottle of prosecco we ordered to toast my son's birthday while perusing the menu. When the food did arrive my mother's starter and main course arrived 5-10 minutes after the rest. The plus point has to be the food which was definitely worth the wait. We couldn't fault it! And when we got to desserts thankfully more staff were available for the full restaurant so the dessert, candle and singing I organised for my son in advance of his big day was also worth the wait!

Valentines Day set meal was beautiful. Two things that could have been better. The duck 4th course could have been hotter and the 5th course desert i expected a real desert not just some chocolates. Overall very good and would go again.

We had a lovely Valentine’s Day meal and were made to feel very welcome. The place has a fancy, premium ambience. Strongly recommended for a romantic dinner.

Wonderful evening. Lovely food. Sometimes a little noise from people making noise at the bar playing pool but it didn’t distract from a great meal. Would definitely come here again

It was a lovely experience. We have been here several times. The food is great, and the service is exceptional. We had a small birthday celebration and were very pleased with how it turned out. We will definitely come back again.

We have visited this place several times, and the food is always delicious and of excellent quality. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dadang and Beth are especially charming, making you feel genuinely welcome and comfortable.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, the staff were very good. The food was amazing, we had the steak which was cooked to perfection as we requested. Loved it thankyou!

Booked this event as a 90th birthday treat for my mum. Confirmed with the hotel this morning that everything was right and confirmed this was a birthday treat. Had to wait an hour for food. When I spoke to the manager of the restaurant he said there had been a miscommunication between them and the kitchen. The food has obviously been rushed and didn’t look great. Mum was upset by it all and it ruined what should have been a memorable birthday treat. Very unhappy about the whole experience as we cannot repeat such a special occasion
