   Good meal and service. Prices up a bit. Lasagne lacked any dressing, such as salad or garlic bread. Plate looked sparse.

   My 1st visit at the gate me and my partner had starters and main . Start mushroom , and he had the fish starter . For our mains we had butchers block for the two of us to share all diff cuts of steak . Cooked beautifully and tasty 😋 wud definitely return .

   staff were friendly and helpful , food was lovely . we all had something different and we all enjoyed it The restaurant was quiet but we chose that's time knowing it would be fairly quiet as Wales were playing .

   I highly recommend The Gate Llanfrechfa, the customer service was fabulous, the food was outstanding and I will definitely be going back, my guide dog and I was made to feel very welcome and my dad who needs gluten-free was also made very welcome and accommodated. Thank you very much for the outstanding service

    My husband and I dined for lunch at the Gate today. I had ravioli filled with lobster , it was wonderful and the sauce divine, just wished I had ordered some bread to eat up all the sauce ! My husband had calzone, which he said was ok, but he wouldn’t choose it again ( personal choice ) To finish, he had Tiremsu , which he said was wonderful, while I had Panna Cotta with a tia Maria coffee to finish. A really lovely meal, in quiet surroundings. Highly recommended
